    Corfton Road Surgery responded really quickly to my recent request for help. I got both phone and a face-to-face consultations the same day as I submitted the econsult. The doctor was careful and sympathetic - really lovely. I have been registered with this practice for more than 25 years and this is not the first time I have had such a swift and helpful response. I feel very lucky to be with them.

    I cannot thank the amazing staff and Doctors enough at this Practice. They are always prompt and very helpful. The responses from the Doctors is always within the times promised. As a family we find the whole service very reassuring. The Receptionists are always polite and ready to help.

    I am utterly at wits end with this surgery. I have been trying to get an appointment for over 8 months, so that i can get a repeat prescription for my asthma. When I call them they tell me they can't help me and that I need to go onto their site. When I go to their site, I need special logins so that I can access the make an appointment section. To get the logins, I need to call them. I call them, they say I need to wait for my logins, which will be sent by email. I waited 6 months for those logins. Everytime I called in betweem they were of no help. The logins they send could not be more confusing, they send a an "ID", a "username", a "password" and a "passphrase". When I try to login using my password and username gain no access. After 5 attempts my accound becomes locked. Only way to unlock it? Why you have to call them of course. Guess how far I got? This surgery should be a ashamed of how of complicated it has made it for a person to gain access to health care. I am utterly disgusted by lack of service and complete unwillingness to me get a simple GP appointment.

    I am sorry you have had all that trouble. What you are describing is how to gain online access for your medical records. You can request a repeat prescription that way, but you certainly don’t have to. You could also just request it via e-mail on prescriptions.corfton@nhs.net, your prescription will then be ready within a maximum time of 48 hours. If you need an appointment you can just go on our website and submit an e-consult, which is very straight forward and easy www.corftonroad.surgery.co.uk Or if you are having difficulty with this, then reception should help you to do it. All requests for an appointment are triaged by a doctor and these are also dealt with very quickly, you usually hear back from a doctor within a day. I understand that this fairly new system of working can be very confusing, but it has proven to be the most efficient way of dealing with the very large number of requests for appointments and other queries.
