  1. Review titled Awful treatment from reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 March 2023

I always receive an awful treatment from staff when I call them despite me being respectful. They don’t listen to the patient and interrupt you before you can explain what’s going on. They make you feel you are wasting their time, when it’s their job to guide the patient. The worst of it is that it just not once, it happens every time I call. My GP is very kind and professional, but unfortunately, it’s not worth the ill treatment from receptionists.

  2. Review titled Amazing Speed

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by David S - Posted on 04 January 2023

Sent email marked 'Not Urgent' to GP Tues 3rd midday just to book in annual blood tests. Didnt expect his usual rapid reply with new year backlog but he replied in a couple of hours to say all set up & an auto text arrived with a link to book. Prefer personal contact so I called in & got a choice of appointments the next day. I have always been amazed at the speed of response, even when not urgent. I occasionally read a comment here with total disbelief claiming it taking several days or longer to get a reply or call back. I cannot imagine such a case ever happening.

  3. Review titled An Outstanding Practice for care & attention :

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Brian D - Posted on 07 July 2022

I have left favourable reviews before but this week they excelled : Friday evening I felt really unwell, Saturday morning I was on to NHS 111 & spoke to the firsts stage Triage medic - then the Clinician called back & then the duty GP called me back over the weekend. He made recommendations, issued prescription direct to my local pharmacy & said he would email Hillcrest & my GP, - who he said he knew & also spoke highly of. Early Monday morning there was an email waiting for me from my GP to go in for an emergency appointment, the surgery called me with a time & I was seen. Tuesday morning I had a phone call with Hillcrest's duty GP & again Wednesday morning & happily the problem has resolved & passed. Hillcrest is a large teaching practice yet their care, attention & ability to re-assure any patient immediately is beyond any reasonable expectations. It is clear to see why they have the highest rating from the NHS CQC Inspectors. You would not get this degree of speed & help in the top Harley Street private clinics. They are too busy tidying the glossy magazines & re-arranging the flowers !
