Saw a doctor at this practice this morning to consult him about an ongoing problem Found him very caring and easy to talk to. All doctors and other staff first class!

The reception staff dealt promptly with my query . It was easy to speak to someone. Furthermore, I have received excellent care by the Practise Nurse and Doctors in all my appointments. I and my family are very grateful to be registered patients at Mountfield. Thank you

Administrative staff were prompt in preparing referral for blood tests and in providing the test results. It is normally easier to reach a receptionist via phone than it is at most other GP practices.

I called to register with this practice, as it's nearby and it has decent reviews on Google. But I was told to "go elsewhere" after I asked if it was possible to get proof for the "3 month waiting list" I was told of, I requested this because my employer needs proof that I have been to a local GP. I totally understand the pressure the NHS is currently under, and if they couldn't provide that. But telling me to "go elsewhere" , and "no GP provides that" was not neccesary and unprofessional. I didn't have an issue with the waiting list. She, didn't ask if there was anything else I needed. And proceeded to hang up, this happened today.

We apologise that you had a bad experience. We will be using this feedback as learning for our front line receptionists. The information provided is not correct. Patients can be seen as an immediate and necessary patient if they need to see a health professional if they are not registered at a GP surgery, for example on holiday. Once again we are sorry about this. Mountfield Surgery.

I find this GP extremely well run. Receptionists are efficient, responsive and caring. Doctors listen, investigate your concerns. I am very happy and grateful that myself and my family can be cared by such wonderful team. Thank you Mouthfirld surgery

This is a great “ family Gp “ practice . As a patient I feel that the clinical team know and care about my health and well-being . Getting an appointment is east as there is a selection of walk in surgery / appointments/ and telephone consultations . All of the clinical team are very experienced ( and it shows ) . The receptionists are very professional and welcoming making a trip to the surgery as stress free as possible . Obviously the health service is operating under a great deal of pressure but at mountfield they remain very patient focused

The phone system has been changed to an automated one. To make an appointment you must wait on the phone. Currently into my 22nd minute of waiting. The whole time being told I am caller number 2 in the queue. I haven't managed to see a doctor face-to-face since before the pandemic but now I can't even book a telephone appointment.

Thank you for your feedback. Our new digital phone system was necessary for connectivity and initially had some teething problems. We have made improvements and hopefully you will find the telephone service more responsive. Sorry for inconvenience.

The surgery could not have been more helpful and the appointment system was excellent. Care and attention was first class. I'm delighted to be a patient at Mountfield.
