  1. Review titled Friendly, professional & positive appointment.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a very positive & helpful appointment at this surgery with a doctor I had never met before. She listened, asked questions, put me at ease, gave professional advice & I came out feeling very relieved & reassured. The receptionist was also very helpful, a very good appointment. Thank you.

  2. Review titled Poor health care practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Since yesterday I had come Covid Positive and trying to speak with someone from Manor Surgery to no avail. Apart from their automated answering machine no one is picking the phone no matter how seriously you need to talk to them. I was wondering if I qualify for Antiviral treatment but whom do I speak to?

We are very sorry that you have been unable to get through on the telephone. We have been having telephone issues for a few months now and our 'phone providers have been unable to resolve it, so far. We are having periods of time where we cannot pick up incoming calls. We are waiting for a new telephone system and are on the top of the list for this, due to our telephone issues, when it can be installed. If you are able use the internet please go to our website www.manorstreetsurgery.org and click on the Contact us online image. Ignore the fact that it says it is temporarily unavailable. This is an issue with the providers that we are also trying to resolve. Please follow the process and let us have your contact details. We can then contact you back to book an appointment for you to speak with a clinician today. Again we are very sorry for this trouble that it is causing all of our patients. Please know that we are trying our best to solve it. Regards Angela Burnett Practice Manager

The doctor listened accurately, was encouraging in his explanations and showed me much kindness and humanity. I am most grateful.

  4. Review titled No service available

I was refused an appointment on the grounds that "we don't do Covid". I needed to discuss my post-Covid recovery and the effects on my underlying health conditions, but the telephonist was adamant - "No". Eventually I was able to book an appointment on the pretext of atrial fibrillation. When I got to see the GP he was baffled that the admin staff were giving out false information to discourage patients from seeing their GP. The doctors themselves are good, but it's impossible to get to see them - they are very well protected by the admin staff. This morning I was again refused an appointment - they simple don't offer appointments any longer, I was told. Baffling. I am now hunting around for a better GP practice, one that offers appointments.
