    I attended the surgery with 2 of my children for immunisations. The nurse was absolutely lovely- very kind, professional and put us all at ease. This is not the first time I have had excellent care from the nursing team either. I cannot thank them all enough for all the hard work and kindness they show.

    Though it does often take a long time to see a GP face-to-face for a routine appointment, I've been very impressed with the care I've received. Specifically, the practice has been very willing to assist with prescribing on a shared care basis, and dealt extremely efficiently when I had a problem with the prescription.

    James, Thank you for your kind review and that you are receiving the high standard care and service that we strive to provide to all of our patients. We have been working hard to reduce our wait time to see a GP, especially for 1st presentation issues, where we now see nearly 90% within 2 weeks, and all urgent issues on the day or a within a few days with the patient's own GP. Continuity of Care with patients seeing their own GP wherever possible is a cornerstone of our Patient Charter, which we recognise does mean that you may need to occasionally wait a little longer for a routine appointment, though we believe this is outweighed by the proven improved health outcome seeing your usual GP consistently provides.     My wife and I moved our registrations to Rothschild House a few months ago because of very long delays getting appointments at our previous GP. It is still early days, but thus far we have been extremely impressed with the service delivered. The eConsultation portal on the web site is easy to use and gets a rapid response. It manages simple questions and requests quickly, freeing members of staff to give personal attention where necessary. When we have needed to talk to a human being, the response has always been fast and courteous. It's hard to see how they could do better.

    I have to visit the nurse on a daily basis to have a wound dressed as the result of a recent operation. Daily appointments were booked at very short notice which was appreciated. I receive a text reminder for each appointment which is very useful. The electronic check in is very good. The waiting area is clean and bright. All of the nurses are excellent, being friendly and efficient in the dressing of my wound. I thoroughly recommend this practice and the whole of the staffing team.

    Over last couple months been treated for nasty cut on my leg. Right from making appointments either at desk or on phone to treatment from nurses has been excellent. Booking in system when attending appointment is so easy even for an oldie like me! Staff are always so helpful.

    Every member of staff that I met were caring and professional. As a regular user of the service at Markyate, I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience and always feel listened to. The last appointment needed a follow up and that was arranged there and then. So impressed. Thank you all, you’re very appreciated!

    The electronic check in process was very efficient and the information displayed on the large screens in the waiting area very useful. I was seen promptly by the doctor who listened to my history carefully. After examination, she recommended further blood tests. The receptionist was very helpful, pointing out that I could have the blood tests the same day at Hemel hospital, which I was unaware of. Overall, a very helpful visit to the surgery.

    The Health Care Worker who carried out the tests was friendly, kind, efficient and knowledgeable. Appointment was on time. Procedure painless. Results available 4 days later. Good job.
