Today I needed to telephone the Pinewood surgery, where. the receptionist was very kind and helpful, resolving my problem immediately. She left me feeling relieved, reassured and positive.

Unfortunately due to my health, I have had to use Derby Rd Surgery many many times over the last year. Fortunately this is a Surgery that is very well organised, which reflected in the care they have given me. Everyone is so professional, kind and caring. They listen to you & will explain things to you, & when they say they will follow up something, they do! The receptionists here also are outstanding and so helpful. Thank you Derby Rd for making it easier to live with my illness.

Requested a blood pressure check early Dec, repeat blood pressure record chart - blood pressure in the normal range. Follow up - cholesterol level too high. I had a phone call discussion appointment - the outcome was a 3 month repeat blood test and life style change and a repeat blood test booked for end of March. I received a message from GP again requesting annual review. I explained my previous test results and still waiting for my annual review. GP advised to cancel blood test and they would test me in surgery. I had to explain to 3 staff before they realized I was right to stick to the booked test/ pending cholesterol level/also border line thyroid level. For me this shows a total lack of information sharing among practice staff and as everyone is over stretched a waste of their own time and irritating to the patient. My suggestion is one message for annual review two for repeat and one call to discuss the outcome . [Unsure about 'Reception']

I would just like to say how amazing the reception staff are at my surgery (Derby Road Practice in Ipswich). Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and their kindness and compassion is abundant. I have never experienced such helpful Dr's receptionists before and I think they deserve some praise.

I moved here from the United States where my medical needs were extremely well taken care of. I must admit to feeling a bit apprehensive as to the level of care I would receive from another country. But there was no need to worry. The level of care I get from Derby Road exceeds what I received in America. They take such good care of me. I have even had my partner transfer over to them.

Multiple issues for multiple family members always brushed off and referred to any other care provider (dentist, health visitors, opticians) over the past year 5 different conditions we have reached out for support on and been left disappointed by the ‘support’ each time. Official complaints made to head of practice but no actual response from the practice manager. We have moved surgery
