Awful. Asked to see my registered GP and was told his new appointment book doesn't come online for 10 days. So wait those and spoke to the receptionist again to be told the GPs appointments aren't available until the afternoon, so to call back. I called back the next day only to be told there are no appointments because then a truck load of excuses. Firstly I shouldn't have been told about his appointment book, then something about him being on holiday for a month and then that "the lady who" does book his appointments will call me back when his appointment book becomes available. But that it won't be for another 3 weeks. Is there any wonder why things like Cancer and other serious conditions get missed or found too late when you have to wait nearly 5 weeks... And still no appointment in sight

We were very disappointed that you have left us an awful review. We have tried to offer you an alternative GP appointment and I am sorry that you feel this is not suitable for you. Also to reassure you if the medical issue is of an acute nature we do offer appointment with our 'emergency on the day' clinical team everyday from 8am (as we have advised you with your correspondence on email ). We appreciate that we cannot offer all of our patients exactly to GP they want to see, but we work hard to offer a suitable alternative and along with appointment evenings and Saturdays as part of our commitment to our patients. Was stung in my mouth by wasp and was across the road so within 2 minute walk to surgery. Went in to seek assistance or assessment. Never saw any medical personnel only spoke with the receptionist. She told me to sit in chair and subsequently informed me to go to Walk-In Centre in Norwich. That’s 35-40 minutes by car. During drive started to get very tight chested. What if severe anaphylaxis had occurred? Why not initial screening and one dose of antihistamine given. Very scary. Extremely disappointed. Anaphylaxis it’s time critical surely. (To add I’m an ICU nurse too but doesn’t help that I’m now the patient. Can’t help myself if anaphylaxis occurs)

The staff in this practice always work so hard to assist you which is especially welcome during these trying times. Whilst it may not always be possible to see the professional of my choosing on short notice I have never had any issue with communicating with them through other ways which suits me fine. The receptionist and back office team have always been more than helpful in trying to accommodate my requests and the nursing team are second to none when dealing with my issues. Finally, the dispensing team are always hard at work when I visit but they are always ready to help with queries.

Today I had an appointment at 10.30am on Saturday 25th June. The consultation with the doctor ( sadly I didn’t catch her name) was extremely thorough and professional yet friendly .I left the surgery feeling that I had been listened to and that any necessary action would indeed be implemented . All in all an excellent service.
