Just wanted to say a massive thanks to the whole team - clinical and non-clinical staff are all extremely competent and friendly, my GP is exceptionally thorough and I never have any problem getting in touch. Specifically I have had a number of instances where my medication has been out of stock - communications between the GP and pharmacy have been super efficient and the reception staff helpful and reassuring when I have had to call in. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I have a had a few dealings with the drs and nurses over the past couple of months for some health issue and the staff are all second to none. I have been so well looked after. Reception staff are also helpful and friendly too. Very grateful to be a patient at this surgery.

Whilst visiting the practise last week I was surprised at how cheerful & friendly the receptionist was. Surgery receptionists generally get a bad reputation but this was not my experience. I was greeted with a warm smile & although I had an unusual question for her, she sought advice from a colleague & returned to me. She was friendly, helpful & cheerful throughout my visit. It made me feel welcome & at ease. Well done.

Today my designated doctor at Magdalen Medical Practice, Norwich, performed a minor operation to remove a sizeable dysplastic nevus from the right side of my body. I was made to feel comfortable before and during the operation and my doctor and his assistant nurse were at all times eminently professional and fully communicative. His surgical skills ensured that my experience was painless and completely successful. I am extremely grateful.

As a relatively new patient at this practice, I have had a couple of routine and general appointments (new patient review, routine cervical screening, travel planning for vaccinations, GP appointment for illness). From the booking process and communication with staff at all levels to the efficiency of booking in and practice of staff (APNs, registrar/GP and practice nurse delivering cervical screening), all have been lovely and professional. Particularly appreciated when discussing sensitive topics and carrying out procedures! Highly recommend - a superb example of how surgeries should operate.

This is the best care and treatment me and my family have had from a GP practice. From the receptions who are discreet and calm, to the nurses, HCA and doctors who have all gone above and beyond to care for me and children, husband and mum. Taking all worries seriously and never making us feel like we've wasted their time to come. Thank you to everyone who works at Magdalen Medical Practice

I've been extremely well looked after by Magdelen Medical Practice recently. This goes for the doctors, nurses and the receptionists who are always friendly and professional. Appointments are easy to arrange face to face likewise telephone appointments are prompt too. Such a kind and caring surgery. Thank you for all you do.

I recently had a situation where i had severe pains in the chest (21/07/2022) and was quite concerned that i had a heart problem. Bearing in mind that i was going abroad on holiday the next week i phoned the doctors for help. As usual the telephone receptionist was very helpful and got me an appointment with a nurse for an ECG followed by an appointment with a GP. The nurse was so supportive and caring, really lovely attitude. This was then followed by my GP appointment and she was the the same and put my mind at rest that nothing was wrong with my heart and explained what the problem was. Really great caring all round. Thank you all.

Dear Alison, Thank you so much for taking the time to add your comments about your positive experience at the practice. The decision to "open up" the surgery was taken a few weeks ago and we hope that we have the right balance to cater for all patients. Those who may still feel uncomfortable in a busy waiting area can be given a vibrating pager and they can wait in their vehicle or in the porch until we are ready when we send a signal to the pager alerting the patient to enter the building. I've never had a bad experience at this practice. I had a junior doctor who was amazing, probably the best experience I've ever had - the appointment didn't feel rushed, she was very helpful, thorough and gave me lots of tips. I felt very comfortable and couldn't have asked for much more! Thank you.
