This surgery has two locations and both are efficient, effective and friendly. There are so many horror stories about doctors surgeries. I e mailed this morning my concerns and ten minutes later was called and an appointment made for this afternoon. I arrived on time and was seen at the appointed time. Very pleasant staff and a doctor who took her time to get to a positive way forward. Bloods booked. Local chemists sent prescription and follow up appointment agreed. Excellent

The doctor (review rules say I can’t name him) was fantastic with my mother following a fall. Unable to leave the house, he saw her at home having been in touch with us beforehand by phone after our online request. He was reassuring and gave us confidence in his advice - he also took time with mum, was patient and encouraging with her and helped us to persuade her to accept further help by going to hospital. His suspicion of a hip fracture was correct.

Both my elderly parents receive great care and the whole team are very professional and extremely helpful, kind and friendly.

Excellent practice. Receptionist’s so kind & helpful. Doctor so caring & gave time to listen, thoroughly examine & diagnose. Phlebotomist so nice & professional. No problem getting an appointment. We are just so pleased we have moved & have registered with a doctors that is so organised & all staff I have encountered are kind compassionate & thoughtful.

I called the reception with a query about my health on Monday the receptionist was very attentive and suggested she asked a doctor, within 20 mins I had a call back and was told to attend within 30 mins where I see a doctor who prescribed more medicine and appointments for tests.always impressed!

I first contacted the surgery about a shortening of breath at the beginning of 2022. I was back and forward to the surgery for the next two years, we changed inhalers, we used a spacer, we had chest x-rays, I had two or three chest infections and viruses, then I had COVID,then we had a spirometry and a ct scan. At last we had an answer as I was diagnosed with Bronchiectasis. All through the last two years I have been treated extremely well by Buckden Surgery. Every time I have got in touch because I was bad again I have been seen without delay by either the Respiratory Nurse or my dedicated Doctor. Sometimes I have only sent a query but I’ve usually been given an appointment the same day. It has been a very long road but the service I have been given by Buckden Surgery cannot be beaten. You see a lot of bad press about getting a doctors appointment and the problems people are having. It may be that Buckden is different in some way but I have never had a problem. Thank you so much Buckden Surgery, you are wonderful

I needed to contact the surgery in relation to my daughter. I completed the on line patient triage form at 7:30am, the duty doctor rang me at 8:10am and scheduled an appointment with a female doctor for her at 11:30am the same day. Amazing and efficient service. The doctors always contact me straight away and I always get a same day appointment regardless of the urgency of my medical issue. Cannot fault the doctors and surgery staff. The introduction of the 24 hour prescription pick up service makes me value you all the more. Thank you!!!!

I attended today for a blood test. The nurse was friendly and proactive when I mentioned another issue I had been experiencing. I now have a further appointment which was arranged promptly and efficiently for an ECG. I can not fault the service I received.

Never had a bad experience with this surgery. They are always willing to help out in any way they can. People often moan about the receptionists at doctor surgeries but, I can honestly say that they are fantastic in every way possible!

Amazing service from everyone from reception to pharmacy and of course the Dr 8.00 message to Surgery, received text to say it had been received & sent to on call Dr 10.00 call from reception offering me an appointment same day 14.00 Seen by Dr medication prescribed. Following day had what may have been a reaction to the medication. 15.00 Called Surgery for advice. Information passed to the Dr I saw yesterday. 15.30 Dr called Spoke about symptoms on the phone. Received a link to share some photos of the possible reaction. Video call with Dr who then asked for me to come in the surgery. 16.00 seen by Dr changed medication also checked my original symptoms from yesterday. Left surgery with a different medication and plan of action. A surgery we can depend on when we are not feeling at our best. Well done to everyone involved
