Visited for pre booked Covid booster vaccination. Despite being very busy and the Practice new telephone system went live at 0800 on the day, there was minimal waiting time with All staff doing everything possible to help. We feel so lucky having this as our GP practice and cannot recommend it too highly!

Lovely, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and attentive doctors and nurses. Everything explained well and to ensure your understanding. I have had two appointments this week and on both occasions I was seen very quickly. I have been a patient here for ten years and I cannot recommend this surgery enough. Parking and onsite pharmacy are a bonus but the incredible staff are the main asset, they show so much kindness and follow up phone calls and texts which are reassuring.

This is the first time a GP practice has proactively addressed my needs and the needs of my family. The staff are all very helpful from the reception to nurses, to GPS to pharmacy.

Reception staff and doctors aren’t in sync. Had baby sons second vaccines, lovely nurse said to book next ones on the way out in 4 weeks time. Receptionist unable to book as 4 weeks time hadn’t been arranged so told to call back the following week. Rang back the following week and still not able to book, receptionist didn’t even know when my son’s last injections had been so asked me when he needed them! Luckily I knew it was 4 weeks after the last ones. Asked for a call to schedule and told no I had to call again. Previous surgery in Rushden would book vaccines automatically to ensure no vaccines were missed.

Hi Lucy Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you were disappointed with your recent experience when trying to book the next lot of vaccinations for your son. We work hard to ensure that we have appointments available for booking ahead, and generally our appointment system allows patients to book 4 weeks in advance. Unfortunately due to workforce issues at the time of your appointment we didn't have these pre-bookable appointments available. I would like to assure you that these appointments are now available and if you would like to call the surgery we can get the vaccinations booked in. We get incredible care and attention from this practice, and have done for the past 3 years. Attending an appointment is an extremely positive experience, staff are helpful, the doctor we see is amazing and goes that extra mile the whole time. Having the pharmacy option makes it even more convenient. Thank you!

I have recently moved into the area and joined the Kimbolton Medical Centre, lucky me! On joining I spoke with reception who made the transition to KMC simple and understable and perhaps more importantly made me feel welcome. I was allocated a doctor and made an appointment so that my repeat prescription could be done. My GP covered my health background in an unrushed and professional manner. Blood tests were arranged to confirm that various levels were ok. The appointment was made for a few days later, a practice nurse took the blood needed - relatively painlessly (like many I'm a little squeamish!). I then sufferred a health episode and the practice staff and my GP respond quickly, professionally and with understanding. In fine, the Kimbolton Medical Centre, it's GP's and all the staff have acted professionally and promptly when needed; they have also acted with respect and understanding to me. I hope that they thought I acted towards them in the same way; as they say on the telephone call preamble - be kind; it's not too much to ask is it.

Asked for a prostrate exam - I’m 58 told not to bother if my flow was ok. Getting a doctor appointment impossible, when you do apart from a couple of doctors the rest useless. It might be a cute country practice but that’s it! Registering elsewhere
