    After 45 minutes on hold, we managed to get an appointment. We took our 3 year old son for the appointment. After a few minutes referring to urology and prescribing medication, we mentioned he had an ongoing cough since November. She stopped us in our tracks, refused to examine him and said we need another appointment. It’s ridiculous that we had to make another appointment when he had been there a matter of a few minutes and the waiting room was empty. To refuse to examine a 3 year old child is disgusting. Beyond fuming!! Will be looking to go to another surgery as have always found the doctor very dismissive. The receptionists are lovely and try there best.

  2. Review titled Freindly receptionist but phone line not so great

    The receptionists are always friendly and helpful however when trying to call there is clearly an issue with the phone system as it rings and rings then cuts off as soon as you get to number 1 in the Que. meaning having to go to the surgery to make an appointment.

    Thank you for your feedback. We are currently changing our telephone systems to a cloud base function. This will improve you being able to get through and this will tell you where you are in the queue. I would be interested on your view of this new system once in place. Kara Eaves Practice Manager

    So I think you should run routine appointments again or something put into place as when you ring at 8.30 and don’t get through till gone 9 all appointments are taken it’s leaving you to have to find alternate ways to seek medical attention. I find myself going more to out of hours services then my own gp. I’d rather see our own gp that knows our family then seeing other doctors you don’t see again! So like I said I think something should be put in place weather you take 2 hours in the afternoon out of the day for routine appointments or look at hiring another doctor for the surgery then just having the 1 doctor working.

    Our aim is to find you an appointment on the day and where this can be done through appointments here or at our out of hours this is always our first attempt. We also have GP Triage appointments if you require a face to face appointments and these have been filled for the day or an appointment time outside what is available where GP will telephone you and triage the call, so please ask to be put into down as an on the day triage.     Managed to get an appointment with the doctor. The receptionist here are lovely. However the doctor who saw me was extremely rude. Absolutely no bedside manner at all. I'd rather stay ill than ever have to see her again.

    At this surgery they ask you to ring at 8.30am each day for an appointment, but when you do you are constantly cut off,so you keep trying only to be told there fully booked,how can that be when you are constantly on the phone for 15 mins,from 8.30,there should be a queuing system on there phone telling you how far in the queue you are when ringing, its ridiculous that you cant make an appointment for any other day, without having to ring on the same day only to be told there none available???

    Thank you for your feedback. We are changing our telephone systems early next year to a cloud base function. Appointments can be made in advance if needed however we work primarily on the day appointments and triage on the day.     i wake this morning very dizzy later on i manage to go to my GP and asked if i can get somebody to check my blood pressure as i have dizziness the receptionist told me you have book an appointment, we do not have any appointment this week. that is really worried me a lot

    I have been on pain killers which I have to get from the chemist for some reason the chemist keep running out or can't get the brand the doxter has said to have the chemist kept giving me the names of the same tablet but different make have asked my docter twice this week to give me my pain relieve she has refused the chemist can't understand it yester day I was back and. fro from docter to chemist with no joy an now she expected me to wait till Tuesday when who ever it is who deals with drugs to come in all it us was the same tablet different name been a right joke I am so mad and can not understand what the problem is as she sent the old tablets what they can't get which I have not had
