    Just tried to book an appointment by entering their website. It came up with “make an appointment online”. Clicked that and then it said “ Sorry, your practice does not currently have any appointment slots that can be booked online.“ How can you advertise that you can book an appointment online when you can’t even offer it? Please fix it!

    Dear Patient, I am sorry to hear you could not access an appointment online. We do encourage our patients to use this facility as an option and it is very popular. It could be that all the online appointments were already booked up. However, I will check with my colleague that we are making appointments available for online booking.     Was seen exactly on time, receptionist was friendly. The nurse was amazing, I was noticeably nervous at first and they were so reassuring and friendly, the whole experience was extremely positive so thank you!

    I have been with this GP for 20 years before finally moving to another area and thankfully moving GP's however my parents still have this GP and I often have to book appointments for them. The receptionist are often rude and rush you off the phone, there are never any appointment available. I called on the 2nd of March to book an appointment for my elderly dad on the Monday the 20th. I was told no appointment can be booked ahead and to call the Friday before. Which I then did, on Friday the 17th of March I rang from 8.28 onwards (they were closed at that time) but I kept ringing quickly so that I could be put in the queue when they would open. It got to 8.30 it rang and I got the message they were still closed and redialed straight after (could not have taken more then 1/2 seconds) and I got the message that they are experience a high volume of calls and to call again. It is absolutely infuriating and annoying. I called and called and cant seem tk get through even though i called at their open times of 8.30. Not only are they hard to get a hold of and hard to make appointment, when I do speak to reception and I have done many many many times, they are often rude, rush you and belittling. When I have come to the GP they are very impatient and rude face to face also. The doctors aren't that bad but it is a nightmare getting to see the doctors in the first place. I am so glad this is not my GP anymore but it is frustrating that my elderly parents are unable to book an appointment. The receptionists love suggesting that they use the online service but my parents struggle with using any online services due to their age and language barriers. One of the worst GPs I've experienced honestly. If my parents could move GP's I would have moved them years ago.

    Dear ex-patient, Thank for taking time to share your opinion. I would welcome the chance to discuss the points you raise and explain the technicalities behind our telephone system, I could share statistics of how many calls we take each day and how many routine and Urgent Care appointments we offer so do please contact me if you would like to set up a meeting at the practice or via a virtual platform. If we are unable offer an appointment staff are trained to sign post to other services and offer other options including offering online access. However, we more than appreciate that this is not appropriate for all our patients. We try and make accessing our services as easy as possible for some of more vulnerable groups also for our elderly and very young patients, again, if you could let me know who your parents are I would be happy to speak to them and advise them accordingly. I am sorry you have not been happy with our reception team, they work in a highly pressured, fast paced environment but this is not an excuse for rudeness. I am glad to hear you are happy with the care you have received from our GP team. Thank you, Practice Manager

    Doctor was very thorough and kind , took her time didn't make me feel rushed. The receptionist however was very abrupt and rude when I was asking how to see my blood test results online , they said you have access to your medical record after going in circles trying to explain that I have access but can only see my medications and allergies she would print it out , I was trying to request access to my detailed coded recorded but couldn't get a word in edge ways and felt very pressured by her

    Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment, I am delighted to hear you were happy with the care you received from one of our GP's. However, it is a shame that this was marred by your experience at reception. The reception team are usually very kind and caring in what can be a high pressured environment and I am sorry that this was not the case this time.     Very hard to get an appointment. No consideration for people who work between 8.30 and 10.30 and may not be able to absent themselves to stay on hold, as a teacher, I know I can't do that. Went in person and was looked at, answered to and treated like an idiot at the front desk, the person mocked me for using one "medical" term rather than another. In a moment you feel vulnerable and anxious that is unacceptable. I asked for the print outs of 2 exams I did and this was taken on as a "chore" with an "ugh" attitude. I was also told I needed a doctor appointment to "look" at these? What??? Can't I have my exams and share them with a private doctor? Look at them myself? Put them in a file? Really unbelievable...in my case I have a close family member who is an MD and wanted to share with them Without mentioning it was 11.00 am so I was told to call on monday morning for an appointment. I know work is hard and we all need to be compassionate but I find some of this unacceptable

    I had a few issues recently and spoke to GPs on the phone. I was impressed by the kindness, helpfulness and thoroughness of the doctors. A big big thank you for all your support
