  1. Review titled same old problem

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Failure to authorise repeat prescription 18/03/24 Note earlier review on the same topic. Fourth month running and, yet again, prescription not authorised. Other times it has been out of date items but current prescription not updated. Every time it means that I run out of at least one item before they get their act together. Speak to reception and it's never their fault, they don't even apologise most times. Very disappointing that nearly 1 year on from an earlier review on the same topic I am still experiencing the same problem. There have been times when a prescription change was not updated on the system and also times when the repeat prescription request was apparently overlooked. End result is always the same - medication not delivered on time and wait another 7-10 days after contacting the surgery.

  2. Review titled Really great new appointment system

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 March 2024

The practice has been taken over recently. The new doctors are great. They have put on an online system to get an appointment and its great. The receptionists are really friendly. I had to get hold of them with a urine infection, I contacted them just after 9am and I saw a doctor later that day, and even got some advice on what to do to helpmy symptoms before I got there

  3. Review titled No indication anything has substantially changed

by notafan - Posted on 24 July 2023

Currently under new management, but no indication anything has substantially changed. Doctor has a habit of declining to sign repeat prescriptions until appointments are made, tests completed, etc. Patients seem like a chore.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. We took over the practice on the 1st July with 3 weeks notice, to ensure it remained open for patients. We are committed to improving the services offered but it will take time. To understand what patients want, we are running a survey, we'd be grateful if you could complete it https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BXD9W2R As part of this survey you can also express an interest in being part of the group that meets and feeds back to us regularly so we make sure we are responding to patient need (patient participation group). One of the things we have changed with immediate effect is ensuring prescriptions are issued safely. This will mean patients having annual tests and reviews of their medications, or for some more complex mediations such as those for Rheumatoid Arthritis it will be 3 monthly. This is to ensure your safety. To avoid patients having delays to medication orders, we have a proactive process of calling patients for review on their birthday month which has been implemented.
