Review titled Excellent administration staff and GP surgery

I emailed the gp surgery to say I had started Gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH ) injections and was due my second, so needed a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) prescription. The first was given by the hospital. They called to say they hadn’t had the clinical letter from the hospital but would chase. They called back within 30 minutes to say they’d got the letter and I didn’t need to chase the hospital, got them to send to me too and said they’d speak to a doctor. I had a message the next day saying it’s been added to my repeat prescription, been sent to my pharmacy and will need to see them for a 3 month review!

Rang at 8.15 and got an appointment for an hour later. Doctor was caring and thorough. Prescription straight through to the chemist Home by 10.15. What a wonder service when tou are feeling at your worst.

Constantly told can only book appointments at 8am but every time you ring at 8am they dont pick up the phone so actually impossible to make an appointment.

Thank you for your email. Our phone lines do not open until 8.30am so we apologise if you have been given incorrect information. Ringing at 8.30 is generally for booking urgent on the day appointments. If your need is not an urgent one then you can book an advance appointment by ringing our reception team at any point or by using our online services. Please note that if you wish to see a specific doctor the wait may be a little longer. We also have links to Accurx triage on our website www.manchesterrdsurgery.org.uk where you can submit details of your problem for a doctor to triage.

My mum has had 5 star treatment this past month. Nothing was too much trouble and the care and kindness she received went above and beyond. Could not have had better treatment! Thanks again to the nurses and staff at the practice

I wanted to leave a review to testify that I have been with the practice now for a full 12 months! Reception staff are always polite and helpful, as are the GP's and other clinical staff in the practice. It's the best practice I have ever been with. You are all appreciated very much....Thank You :)
