  1. Review titled Excellent experience with GP Consultation

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Michael Burgin - Posted on 03 February 2024

I needed to speak with a doctor about some issues had been experiencing. The GP who phoned me back (I know I can't say the name on here but I hope this feedback gets to him/her) was very professional and very understanding of my issues. He/she had obviously read my previous medical history and was very much aware of issues with my medication etc. This lead to a outcome where I feel valued and understood as an individual and not just a NHS number/statistic. I feel that these days people are very quick to give negative feedback on bad experiences, but in my case I want to give some extremely positive feedback. I appreciate the stress and stain the NHS is under and GP resources being at the front line are stretched to the limit. Thanks again for understanding and helping me.

Dear patient. As a young carer you are entitled to be referred to the carers centre who will support you as well as the practice. If this has not happened then please contact our carer's champion Becky at the surgery who will do this for you. We have had a system in place for a couple of months now whereby if a patient rings and is placed in a queue then if you hold, the system will give you the option, to use ring back and the system will ring you back when you come to the front of the queue. This enables you to get on with your day and not hold on the phone. Please note if you withhold your number the system does not know who to ring back so ensure you follow the instructions and key your telephone number in. Our receptionist work hard to give patients the best service we can deliver. If you have any problems with the receptionists or any GP or staff member, or our systems then I am always happy to listen and help. Thank you for your feedback, we do listen and improve where we can - Julie Coakley - Practice Manager

  3. Review titled Excellent service throughout

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by A Murray - Posted on 20 July 2022

From doctors, practice secretary, to all the other medical and reception staff the service has been faultless. Despite my frequent calls to ask for advice and assistance in getting referrals I was treated with understanding and friendliness and, above, complete professional competence. This has been the case since we transferred to this practice several years ago. Very well done all.
