  1. Review titled Poor poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

In order to get an appointment ypu now have to go online and complete a referral form which if ypu don't do at midnight then ypu have no chance as referrals stop being accepted very quickly. This process has failed me twice as I have filled out the online form and it has gotten lost or not gone through and I have waited hours with no response only to have to phone the surgery to say an error has occurred and to try again the next day. Tried to get my child an appointment as they have blood in theor urine only to be told we can't see her take her to A&E and we wondwr why our emergency department is stretched to the max if this is what you get from the Dr's. At o e point I thought this was the best GP surgery I have experienced but now its the worst and sadly I will be looking for a different Dr's.

  2. Review titled Service gets worse

Rated 1 star out of 5

Service gets worse, had a text to book my Son's covid booster, booked appt for 3 weeks time. Turned up to appt today and nurse sat there and said we aren't doing any jabs for under 18's. She had an A4 list with all patients on in front of her, I said why couldn't someone have called me to cancel... she said receptionists are busy... I said its your list.... you know what you are and aren't offering, couldn't you have called me to cancel?!

  3. Review titled excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have recently had need of the services of the Hollings lane practice, and would like to express my thanks and gratitude to everyone whom I came into contact with unfortunately not able to mention them by name , but everyone from the reception staff the doctor and the nurses , they were all truly brilliant and treated me as a person that mattered , there is a lot of negative press on the NHS staff but I found the excellent , both as people and proffesionals

  5. Review titled Very thorough

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by richard smith - Posted on 26 August 2022

I accept it is difficult to get an appointment, but after a couple of days managed to get one. Doctor`s appointments gone, so saw the nurse practitioner. She was brilliant. Much better than any doctor I have seen previously. Discovered an irregular heart beat, sent me to see a nurse who took bloods, and gave me an ecg. Now referring me to the hospital. Very, very good. This woman is brilliant

  6. Review titled Frustrated

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I had a booked appointment today. Due to my daughter having asd and pda traits (Pathological Demand Avoidance), it is near impossible to get her anywhere on time if there at all. Explained that to the receptionist who said the Dr. could call at the appointment time if we could not make it to the surgery--we ultimately had to agree to that as my daughter would not leave the house. But the call back never happened. Still one hour later and no call--I spoke to the receptionist who was very nice but still no call back--it seems that I have lost the appointment since I went with a call back over the face to face appointment. Even though we explained our situation earlier in the day and the original receptionist said we would have the call back at that time albeit they are running late and it could be a bit later--but over 1 hour 15. I have been since been on hold with the surgery for the past 20 minutes. "You are caller number 4 in the queue. Please hold". Surely there is a better way to engage a Dr's surgery and get a better service with less stress. I am writing this out of utter frustration.

  7. Review titled shambles to get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

It is pathetic that you have to ring up at 8 o clock to try and get an appointment even if it is not urgent and can be a couple of weeks away. This is the state of the NHS bring back the turn up at the surgery book in between 10 and 11 like it used to be.
