    I’ve had two appointments the first one was with a health care assistant who carried out blood tests, blood pressure, weight and height. She was very friendly and efficient. My appointment was sent via a text to me. The appointment today was for the results of my annual check and was with the practice nurse. The appointment was again sent via text. I saw her on time and we discussed the findings of my tests. She was very approachable and efficient explaining the outcomes in a clear manner.

    All the staff are brilliant. Warm friendly feeling from going in to coming very clean and a relaxing place. Will recommend.

    Recently had side effects from one of my medications, my GP was on leave so was informed Pharmacist would contact me. He called the next day, he was excellent, changed my medication, requested to review how i was doing with new meds in a week and called me back. All sorted now, really efficient and great service.

    I have been trying for 2 months to get a phone appointment - no joy -waiting ages on phone byou the time I get through all appointments gone. I've even phoned 111 and they've rung them on my behalf -still no joy

    We are sorry that you’ve had problems contacting the surgery. Due to the demand on the service, we are experiencing a high volume of calls on a daily basis. On the 11th of May 2023 we did change the phone suppliers and you should have received a text message informing you of this. This stops patient from getting an engage tone when contacting the surgery. When you get to caller 7 or more the system asks if you want to be place into a queue and it will ring you back when you at place 1. All requests for appointments are triage first by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner. An ANP will call you back within the morning an appointment will be arrange if needed. These telephone triage appointments are released every morning at 8am, Monday to Friday. You can book these by calling the surgery phone number or online. To get you registered for online service contact the surgery and we can register you straight away. Patient contacting the practice with emergencies problems will be put through the GP oncall for that day, patients with less urgent problems will be signposted to the out of hours service in Barnsley (iHeart). If you need to discuss this any further please do not hesitate to contact the Practice Manager at the surgery.

    I had a bad experience trying to get through so ended up calling down early morning to get my daughter an appointment. Pleasantly surprised she had bloods taken by a lovely lady that reassured my daughter . Her appointment afterwards was by the Nurse Practitioner that took the time to explain to my daughter about her periods. She was very thorough and I was so impressed . So if you can get an appointment service is very good .

    Can never get an appointment! Rang at 8am engaged for over an hour. Then rang for 10 mins to be told ring 111 no appointments . Told them I am having an heart valve replacement operation at the end of the month but got a chest infection lungs fill with fluid due to heart no working properly anyway . Was told no appointments ring 111??? Shocking service

We are changing the phone system at the surgery in the next few weeks this will hopefully alleviate patients disappoint of getting through to the surgery.     After spending 30mins trying to get through I was told to ring I heart or 111 disgusting service why should I have to ring Ithought I was registered at their surgery

    After eventually being able to make an appointment was very easy to book in and my appointment was not too long after its time. Was extremely happy with the way the doctor listened to my concerns and his recommendations for treatment. He explained things in a very easy to understand way and made my concerns about my Prostate problem seem a little less serious. Excellent communication and care showed.

    Everything regarding the procedure I was there for was explained to me thoroughly. I was given time to discuss the queries I had and wasn't put under any pressure. I am very grateful for the very good care I received.

    Receptionist was very helpful and polite. I had to speak to a nurse who thought I needed to be seen at the surgery and she got me in the same day. Happy with my consultation.
