    Pharmacy said I needed multiple tubes of Dactacort due to the size of the tube, and the widespread of my infection but all I got was one 😡😡

    Once again the fiasco of non or poor communication between doctors prescriptions and pharmacy has reared its very frustrating head. I’ve been on repeat medication for over ten years now and the problem of problems surrounding repeat dispensaries keep cropping up. I mentioned the problem a few years ago when attending a GP appointment but still getting this confusion when going to pick up medicines only to be told by pharmacist that no medicine available because I require a medication review and when querying this it’s found not to be the case and the medication can be dispensed. Another wasted journey.

  3. Review titled Opening times on Google and NHS site incorrect.

    Google states Monday to Friday opening times are 9-5. This is not correct as Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to staff training. NHS site for this surgery states the old opening times of 7am to 7pm and Saturday 9-1. I cannot understand why these details have not been updated. I was trying to book an appointment on Wednesday afternoon being unaware of staff training which is not detailed anywhere online. Please update these details as they are very important to patients.

    It seems to be impossible to get through to the surgery between 8:30 and 9 and then again between 12:30 and 1. When you call at the specified times for appointments you get the generic Covid / Strep A talk and then "it has not been possible to connect your call". Despite trying numerous times, when you do finally get through the receptionist says "emergency appointments only" and ends the call without even asking your name, symptoms etc. The majority of your receptionists are lovely and genuinely want to help, but if you get through to the 1 member of staff who clearly hates her job you have wasted 30 mins + of your day.

    After calling for over a week for my daughter to get an appointment to have someone authorise some bloods tests for her Army appeal, we finally got in today. The ANP we saw was fantastic. Ok she was running late, not a problem, but understood what we wanted and the urgency. Not only did she go over and above on the blood request she took the samples after noticing there weren't any appointments for blood. This ANP went out of her way to be very helpful and its was very much appreciated. Bless when she had done, she even wished my daughter well with her appeal. I'll definitely be requesting to see her again. Thank you.

    I came in for a fit note as instructed by my uc coach and the doctor refused to give me one despite my long-term health condition, making out that I was being lazy by trying to avoid looking for work despite me repeatedly saying that my work coach has instructed me to do this. I don't think this is fair as I've had a fit note in the past and only needed it renewing, yet that's the help I get

    I was due a medication review and called the surgery to check some details relevant to my prescription. In an attempt to explain the receptionist kept interrupting me repeatedly leading to a confusing conversation. She then hung up on me. I called back to ask for a name of who I was speaking but was told that are not required to tell me their name but if I want to complain the practise manager would call me. No on has called. No one will take responsibility for putting the phone down on a mentally unwell patient. I would like to express that I did not sear or abuse the receptionist at all. I barely finished a sentence before she butted in. She clearly was having a bad day and took it out on me. It thoroughly unprofessional and I want an apology. She is a danger to patients.
