    My husband and myself have been with this practice for a number of years and have always had very good service. The receptions are helpful and pleasant and we have never had any problems with this practice

    Used Ask my GP to get an appointment due to excruciating pain in shoulder arm and chest . Offered an appointment in 3 weeks as doctor felt it was musculoskeletal. Called 999 and taken to hospital given morphine enroute after thorough tests and chest x-ray a chest infection was diagnosed . Had a 10 minute appointment been offered I feel a could have received treatment in a timely manner . A&E are severely stretched and I wouldn't use the service had I been offered a consultation with the GP first. An eight hour wait with 72 other patients probably could have been prevented . The surgery are also overstretched with a boundary being as far as Horsington which I know to be correct it's not sustainable with only one GP .

    A simple thing like asking for an appointment with a doctor here is not well received. Reception staff ask about your symptoms if you refuse to give them to receptionists then you will not progress to a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner will then decide if you need to see a doctor. As someone that has not visited a doctor for many years I didn’t take the decision to see a GP lightly but unfortunately couldn’t get past the receptionist stage. I feel that receptionists should book appointments only and not be involved in healthcare decision making and the Doctors should refer you to their nurse practitioners not the nurse practitioners referring you to a doctor! With such defences in place to prevent access to your GP I’m sure many patients with serious conditions will go undiagnosed.

    I have been with this practice for approx 1year. The first thing they did was take me off some of my prescribed remedies, the reason is to save money and put me on a less expensive item the result being my health went down again. They have never studied my records in depth,I have only seen a Doctor once,there was no initial interview. The receptionists I have dealt with are abrupt and seem to think they are totally in charge of my medication. One person was even eating something whilst in front of the reception desk. The pharmacist is always looking to take me off my medication and put me on another cheaper item. I have asked for a face to face with a doctor when I first registered with the surgery, and I never received one due to the Covid problem, a good excuse for a lot of people and companies. I have had a letter stating that they wanted me to attend the surgery because they want to align my file with my birth date ?,and to review my medication. I was given an appointment,and attended on the day . But I was told that they would have to make another appointment as there was no one available to do the work. I then received another letter as before. My wife phoned the surgery and asked why they had sent me a " final reminder " and the receptionist stated that there is no one available for at least three weeks. So I am now in Limbo once again. And the receptionist on the phone became quite rude. I have multiple disability and health issues and this practice seems to be unfriendly with their patients in their care . I am at this moment in time waiting for a prescribed item ,and this is after being told their pharmacist is out of stock and they suggested a different item. This is after my last doctor managed to get me satisfied with the results of my medication. I now do not have any of the medication and as a result I am now suffering again. So I am totally upset by the way they have treated me. I have and possibly still will be treated by the service staff at this practice,as unfortunately there is not another practice near me.

    I don’t live full time in the area , so I filled out a temporary registration form. I was seen the same day which was today by the Practice Nurse , a very professional nurse . Thank you & To all the Admin staff I dealt with .

    I received a call from a DR I had been dealing with via AskmyGP after requesting more details about some results I received. She rang me as agreed, was extremely kind and caring, she explained the results and blood tests I had done recently, what the haematology department had stated regarding my next steps and what she suggested we do moving forwards. I was also given the opportunity to ask about another concern I had which she discussed and then arranged an appointment for me to see her as she was unable to diagnose via the phone. She made everything extremely clear and easy to understand, allayed my worries and took time to help me with this other issue. It was a great experience and I would be very happy having her dealing with anything for myself and family in the future. The follow up face to face was also a great experience. I want to say thank you for taking the time to care and giving me the attention and guidance I needed. I would name the doctor but I'm not sure it would allow the review to be published but I have spoken to her and thanked her personally. Great service!!

    I suffer with breathing difficulties and back pains which limit what I can and cannot do. I had a scan on my back due to the pain and movement limitation several months ago, and I have still had no feedback or advice on the results or what I should be doing! I have asked twice now when forced to visit the surgery, as I could not get through to them be it online or by telephone, and was assured that someone would check and get back to me....of course it never happened! Talking of visiting the surgery, this is a big thing for me and it takes a lot out of me, so I am not impressed when arriving and reaching the counter, I was left standing there alongside another gentleman for some time, as two of the receptionists had far more important things to do, such like discussing future holidays and what was happening in their own social world!!! Also too many appointments get cancelled for one reason or another, but sometimes you dont know this till you arrive there.....bad diary management. In the Coningsby surgery there are good staff who work hard, but sadly there appears to be some staff that either promise you action, and then just dismiss it, or just plain ignore you. I am not even sure than any doctors actually exist in this practice, as the best one can hope for is a nurse, if you get passed reception! This used to be a 5 star practice, but sadly it is at best only a 2 star practice now!

    Thank you to all staff involved with the swift and reassuring action taken for my daughter who had worrying symptoms regarding her health. The 2ww procedure was put into place and has been carried out. At such scary times it is a comfort to have support and compassion from our local surgery. Thanks again to all involved.
