    Came to see nurse today for tetanus jab and wound review as per local pharmacist recommendation, top class service! Ask my gp app is brilliant! Never had a problem at this surgery! 👍👌 they really do look after you 100%

    They want you to use the my gp app for everything. They turn it of when they hit "capacity" which isnormally around 9-10am. If you work a normaly job you wont ever be able to get through.

    Dear patient Thank you for providing feedback regarding AskmyGP. We do endeavour to keep AskmyGP switched on from 07:30am until 12pm. Occasionally, we have staff sickness and have an increase in requests; unfortunately, at this point we must switch this off earlier than planned to enable us to deal with urgent requests on the day. We are still available via the telephone and email if you do need to get in contact with us on the day. We are also changing over to a new phone company in April which will allow you to request a call back instead of waiting on the phone. Kind regards Tracy Dewhurst (Practice Manager)

    Ask my gp doesn't work 9 times out of 10 and i rang and spent 34 minutes saying I was number so many in queue then got to it ringing and just sat ringing and ringing. The Dr's are good when you can actually get through but the problem is getting through!! I don't understand why they have to use the rubbish ask my GP and can't just answer the phones and give people appointments like they use to? It is so ridiculous now adays.

    Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry our service doesn't meet the standards expected of you and the problems that you have been experiencing. AskmyGP is open from 7am to 12pm for appointments with GPs. This switches over to requests via the telephone after 12pm. AskmyGP remains on for other enquiries; e.g. sick notes, medication, suspected UTIs and cancellation of appointments. If you would like to contact me at the surgery, I can look into why you are having problems with AskmyGP and contacting the surgery via the telephone. I have not had any other reports of AskmyGP not working, I'm wondering if this is a technical problem. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Tracy Dewhurst Practice Manager

    Used the askmygp service first thing this morning. Had a call back from a Dr within 45 minutes offering an appointment an hour later. Dr was friendly, helpful and thorough during the consultation. Didn't feel rushed at all. Thanks all.

    Last week I consulted the dr using ask my gp. The response I had was quick and kind. I felt listened to and cared for even though my issue was relatively minor. It was followed up promptly too and the ongoing care is equally as great. Thank you very much.

    Review: I had an hernia op at the surgery a couple of weeks ago. The service was second to none. Also, just had skin tag removal today and yet again, excellent care. I’m sorry that I’m not allowed to mention any names because you really do need acknowledging. I truly cannot fault this surgery. Thank you once again!

    Once again I have received truly top class attention from Market Rasen Surgery. After contacting the surgery via 'askmygp' I received a telephone consultation with one of the doctors within 30 minutes of my request being sent. A face-to-face appointment with a visiting specialist clinician and blood tests were arranged for a few days later and a follow-up letter received from the GP - all within a week of my first contact with the surgery. Even at the best of times this would be considered exceptional service but with primary care currently under so much pressure I really must congratulate all the team at Market Rasen surgery for providing such efficient and high quality care to their patients during such a difficult and demanding period.
