  1. Review titled Rubbish service

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have tried several times by telephone to get appointment with a doctor unsuccessfully! They send me to a nurse or say a duty Dr will call but you end up with a text saying go to pharmacy . It's a disgraceful service for someone who recently had Cancer and has some concerns they would like to sit down with a Dr and discuss them . I wish I could change practice but no others available .

  2. Review titled Mental and physical health

    by cruxbc76 - Posted on 20 October 2023

I had been working for a company for many years in a job that is mentally but not physically taxing. As we came to the end of the contract and my termination date I couldn’t see what was happening to me mentally, emotionally and physically. There were relationship problems left right and centre, my work suffered and it got to the point where I could be driving and wonder how simple it would be to drive into that tree, or the lorry, or find another way to end the torment. Fortunately I reached out to my doctors and they were incredibly supportive, they understood why I can do my job but want to end it all at the same time with little or no trigger. It was the understanding and provision of a pathway to a better me that was most important. It wasn’t just pop these pills and it will get better, it was the understanding on both of our parts that we wanted to make a better me. Long story short, I’m now unemployed but on a pathway to recovery and feel like losing my job was the best thing for me, I no longer feel like the extra in a James Bond movie that you just know isn’t going to make it, or the guy in the red top on the Star Trek away team.

  3. Review titled Gone downhill in recent years

Rated 1 star out of 5

Trying to get an appointment is frustrating, online booking system closes minutes after opening then when you call have to sit in a queue for a long time (47 mins last time) to be put of the triage list. Put on waiting list for Mirena coil for HRT to be told several months later that the surgery are not fitting them anymore as not cost effective so refer to specialist for consultation and fitting which I’m pretty will cost the NHS more than fitting at a local Surgery by GP/nurse. Also only one member of staff with decent peri-menopause knowledge, the others o have encountered are severely lacking in Understanding.

  4. Review titled Disappointing on many levels, sadly

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Family been patients for more than 20 years, however not used the practice loads over the years. Nurses we have dealt with have been great & post surgery support been lovely. Most of the reception staff have be great, just a couple that have been 'off' face to face and/or Tel call, witnessed the same treatment of an elderly gent too 28/12. It is important to see the person not just a patient. Disappointed with medical service around diagnosis, not looking at history of patient, not listening to real & valid concerns from patient and parent, the online booking system only being available 08.00 to 12.30, no call back from both Partner re review of case, no call from Practice Manager to gather more information which was promised by partner on 28/12/2022 for w/c 09/01/2023, prescription item requested 30/12/2022 by hospital but this request missed by practice

  5. Review titled Great Work

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have a serious ongoing medical issue and the practice have always been very caring, responsive, safe and effective. All staff are kind and courteous. Phone lines can be a little slow but all GP practices have issues with access, it’s not a unique issue to this practice. I’m a working adult so having phone consults and online services really help as I don’t need to take time off work, can continue working and just answer my phone rather than and afternoon or morning out. Structured Medication Reviews are always conducted on time and really helpful. Thank you Richmond Medical, really appreciate your help and thank you for all you do.

Called to book husband an appointment and was dealt with very efficiently. The receptionist was understanding and able to accommodate around work commitments. Very pleasant transaction! Thank you
