    I had good this time because Chetna HCAwas puntual and professional. She was also very very polite and friendly.

    Why can’t we book appointments on-line yet?? Why are we still having to ring up at 8am or 2pm to speak to someone or book an appointment with the doctor?? Everybody rings at the same time and sometimes when I’ve finally got through the appointments have gone! So you have to go through the whole process again. For people that work it makes it really difficult. When you do get a telephone appointment, you can’t give a time. I can’t answer my phone at work as I have nowhere private I can speak about my problems. It’s ridiculous that you can’t book an appointment in advance, whether telephone or face to face, on a day and time convenient to you. Other’s surgeries have moved on. I work in a surgery where you can email you problems, even send in a photo, which is passed on to the GP and you get a reply from the GP. It makes life so much easier for people that work and can’t waste time ringing up trying to get an appointment. Very disappointed that you as a Surgery have not moved on yet. You really need to rethink the whole appointment process.

    it is extremely difficult to get an appointment the system says appointments can be given only at 8 am or 1 pm , but whenever we try calling it is always busy as everyone is trying to call at the same time for appointment .. why cant they take phone calls on other times and give appointments ?? even if that means appointment for next day or any other available slot

    Rang in today at 13.16 on the 8/8/2022. Asked politely to book an appointment with the doctor and the receptionist was awfully rude. She stated that I had already rang this morning and did not want a face to face appointment when she clearly told me “no face to face appointment is available, only on the telephone. I am extremely disappointed and I do hope they give adequate training on how to speak to patients politely.

  5. Review titled unprofessional staff and non-transparent booking

    The surgery practice works like a bureaucratic setup, there is no online booking option and everything is with reception staff. So patients don't know if any slot is really available on the day, one has to call at 9 AM in morning everyday or 1 PM to get an appointment. Its all in the hands of reception staff who act like first level assessment unit (which they are not) to give you an appointment. And importantly the appointment is not for a surgery visit rather a telephone call from the doctor. If you are luckier than a lottery winner to get a telephone appointment there is still chances you may not get a call and required to call them again next day and repeat the cycle. This is so much painful and adds to the agony of the patient who is already suffering.

    We are sorry you have this view of how the practice is run. The practice was operating a telephone triage system as per NHS England advice during the Covid pandemic but we have now moved to face to face appointments, online booking appointments and advance booking appointments. On the day appointments can be accessed at 8am and 1pm but these may be taken by urgent cases and are not refused by reception if we have capacity.
