    I have recently been diagnosed with a new condition. I had questions which were brushed off and ignored, being made to feel as if I was lying about symptoms. As a result of my last consultation, if I ever voluntarily seek a doctor's opinion again, it will mean I am extremely desperate indeed.

    All of the doctors are good when you get a chance to see them. Where are the regular listed doctors most doctors when i go to the surgery i have never heard of.I have not seen my own doctor for over 3 years,

    Waste of time , appointment system not fit for purpose . spent two days from eight am trying to book appointment , phone engaged 30 mins both days then to be told all appointments gone ? . Looks nice from the outside to bad about the service provided .

    Thank you for taking the time to complete a review for the Practice. We are sorry that the service has not met your expectations on this occasion, as we endeavour to always meet our patients needs where possible. I understand that phonelines are busy in the morning as we take approximately a 1000 calls during this time. We do offer other ways to obtain an appointment at the surgery. We have our online booking system that can be accessed through our online services on our website and we have our patient triage system that can be found on our website for non urgent appointments. Should you not be able to hold on the phone we also have our new call back option that will save your place in the queue and then call you back when you are at the front of the queue. Should you wish to discuss any of the options open to you please contact our reception team manager after 10.30am.

    Very good service from doctors and staff when you can actually get to communicate with them. Contact on the phone for appointments very disappointing. Appointments run out very quickly on request. As an older person this can cause extra unwanted stress when unwell. Too many patients on the books!

We are sorry that the service has not met your expectations on this occasion, as we endeavour to always meet our patients needs where possible. Since your review we have commissioned a new telephone system to help alleviate some of the stress on the phone in the morning. The system offers as call back feature which will keep your position in queue and then call you back when you are at the front of the queue. We have also taken on an additional GP to help provide more appointments for our patients. We will pass on your comments in regards to the doctors and staff to our team.

    I have been with the surgery for 37 years. Although the staff are very polite and helpful it has become increasingly difficult to get an appointment (even a telephone appt) I realise that there is a crisis within the NHS and I am certain the practice are doing their utmost to handle the situation it is not working. After being with the practise for so long I am reluctant to move to a different practice but it is fast approaching that I may be forced to. Speaking to friends and relatives about their experiences with other practices the majority are not suffering to the extent this practice does. I don't know what the answer is but something needs to be done. I do not like leaving negative reviews but I feel in this instance I must. As a retiree from the NHS I understand the importance for staff to feel that they are providing a first class service for their patients and whilst they are all doing their best in these difficult circumstances the surgery is not functioning as it should
