I phoned up the surgery to see why the doctor hadn't been in touch for my telephone consultation. I was told the Dr had tried to ring but couldn't get trough . I politely queried this and the receptionist started raising their voice to me ! In the background I could hear people laughing and chatting loudly. I have now seen my phone had a spam alert on the surgery number and had stopped the call getting through . Because someone queries information given doesnt mean they need "putting back in their place " patients shoud be dealt with calmly and politely it's a two way street .

My family and I recently moved to this practice, and yesterday was the first time I had to use them for my poorly toddler. From start to finish all staff were incredibly helpful and caring and saw us promptly. From the initial telephone call, to the reception staff and medical students and doctor we saw, everyone was kind, helpful and provided an excellent level of care. Our previous practice always made you feel as if you were inconveniencing them by calling, and that was if you could wait the hour on hold to even speak to someone, and inevitably there were never any appointments, they just sent you to the walk in centre. I am not usually someone for writing reviews, but I thought that since everyone is always so quick to complain, it was important to speak up about the wonderful service we received. It was a very pleasant surprise to be treated as well and as quickly as we were. In the nicest possible way, I hope we won't be needing to visit again too soon, but it is so good to feel we will be in safe hands if we do need to. Thank you Park View, please keep doing what you are doing!

Incompetent doctors that can't stick to an appointment schedule. They try to diagnose problems through photos, but then don't bother to ring you with the outcome of said diagnosis. You can ring in the morning at bang on half 8, which is when they open. Be 5th in the qué, to then be told no appointments available. If you finally get through, you get bombarded with questions from receptionists who seem to all be registered GPs, who seem to know whether you need an appointment or not. Since COVID all you seem to get from staff on the phone is were busy dealing with COVID patients. You seem to be the only place in the country that still use COVID as an excuse. This practice has extremely gone downhill over the past few years.

I have been a patient here for many years and have found all staff, including reception, office staff, nurses and GPs, at the practice caring, compassionate and professional. They take the time to understand your problem during appointments and follow up quickly if you require a fit note or referral. On several occasions, my gp has written to my consultant at the hospital to support treatment. The doctors and nurses I have had appointments with at the practice have listened carefully and explained diagnoses fully. I have always felt included in decisions about my treatment. It is usually possible to get an appointment on the day with your preferred gp which can be really helpful for continuity of care. As a result of the hard work of staff at the practice, I have felt well supported with my physical and mental health over the years.

My mother has been a patient at this practice for many years, recently not in good health, however Gp visited as house bound patient, reception staff are always kind and show empathy are willing to listen and direct you to appropriate clinical staff. Our elderly population are particularly found of some Doctors but as I always explain to my mum, it's not like the old days and times have changed. Throughout the most challenging of times this has been incredibly difficult for all surgeries, Patient care has always been paramount at this surgery, so thank you Park View and the reception team for all your hard work, let's be mindful that reception staff don't just answer phones all day, they have lots of other duties as well. Keep up the excellent work.

I called to make an appointment at about 08.50 for a damaged knee fully expecting not to be seen for some time , but was offered an appointment with a first response practitioner specialising in muscular/skeletal problems a couple of hours later. Everyone that I encountered at the surgery was efficient, professional and polite and I came away with a treatment plan feeling reassured. This is exactly the level of service that I have received here before over the years. Thank you.
