    I rang 15 times between 8am and 8.35 and kept getting the “this line is busy” message. No queuing facility so you just need to keep calling back. Eventually got through but then the phone just rang and rang and rang. 9 minutes of ringing and still nothing. This is not a one off, it happens every time i try to call the surgery/ the only way to get an appointment is to drive to the surgery at 8am and ask at the counter. The situation is not fit for purpose. How can you have a gp practice that refuses to answer the phone when that is the only means of contact that they allow (no online contact available, which, in itself is ridiculous). Terrible service and it doesn't look like it will improve any time soon. Really the CQC should intervene. Not entirely sure how it achieved its current rating. Perhaps I’m just unlucky and everyone else gets a great service but I doubt it.

    My husband is a cancer patient and needed some very important bloods to be taken. These were done …but only to find out weeks later that the bloods were not labelled, so obviously was not sent away because nobody knew who the bloods belonged too. How can this be acceptable? Why are we not heard? How can this surgery still be allowed to open their doors.?

    My son was staying with me and needed a doctor's appointment as a temporary resident because of a dog bite. He was seen the same day, given great treatment and the staff couldn't be more helpful

    Since this practice changed hands, it has become not fit for purpose. My mother has tried to get asthma reviews for months now after having worsening symptoms and a trip to A&E resulting in steroids being prescribed. The most she has ever got from the surgery is a telephone call from a nurse (after calling many times to even get this). No peak flow test (as would be usual), no physical examination and the nurse saying they have restrictions on what they can prescribe/recommend. This results in the nurse saying my mother will need to call back for a new appointment with a doctor - which she simply has been unable to get. You have to call in excess of 100 times every time you want to book an appointment. They rarely give face to face appointments, even when a pharmacist or private insurance medical professional has said you should be seen. Everyone says the same about this practice - it is notorious in Oadby. It is just bizarre that it is still running. My family are moving to a different surgery.

    After desperately trying to reach bynphone i managed to get myseto the surgery in person, struggling for breath and with an 8 year old in tow! To be told id have to take myself to a&e despite explaining this wasnt an option!! They couldn't even call an ambulance???? I cant imagine being in any other public place and receiving that little care to be honest! A shop keeper, publican or joe bloggs on the street would have done more to help

    Never get an appointment, they never do what they say there going to do. Never phone you back. Never communicate with the hospital. No gp's to speak of. Has slowly descended into chaos. Should be closed, can you put them in special measures.

    Trying to get through to this surgery drains the life out of me. You ring when they tell you to ring at 8am and it takes a ridiculous amount of calls until you get put on hold for 33 minutes (my latest hold time) the doctors are very rude and don’t seem like they even care about patients. The most annoying thing is when the doctor calls back it seems like they haven’t even read any of your medical history as they always ask you to try and remember years worth of medications you’ve been on and how long for. Ridiculous! My latest encounter was with a very rude doctor who talked down to me after ringing because I found a lump. No sensitivity on their part, and a patronising response to me getting it checked out. Disgraceful!

    A phone line permanently engaged, a website never available and attempts to book in at the counter refused. I have just obtained a phone call by asking for 'a triage booking' which has never been suggested before. A neighbour using a nearby surgery is answered at once and routinely gets a same day appointment. Brooksby Drive, which we have been with since 1985,is a shadow of itself and seems to avoid contact at every opportunity. Obviously a staffing problem. What is the meaning of the' s' in the nhs?

    The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. The prescribing Pharmacist and nurses have been very helpful and friendly. The Doctors have also given us professional care and attention.
