I made 18 calls before getting through to the surgery this morning. I eventually got an appointment which I was grateful for. I had to take a urine sample in later in the day. On returning home I viewed my phone to see my previous text appointments. Another appointment showed up for 16.07pm. I was concerned thinking I was called back for a follow up. I called the surgery to query this. I managed to get through but nobody was answering, I sat for 8 minutes but to no avail. I did try calling again and still not answering. I had no choice but to drive to the surgery to speak face to face with someone. I was told it was an error?? The same happened to my partner a few months ago. I did say to the receptionist I had tried to call but nobody answered. I was very polite, but the receptionist replied in an offhandedly manner that we do answer our calls. I appreciate this is a busy surgery and that you do your utmost to serve the public within this area. I think by adding my review it may help with overcoming problems like this in the future.

Excellent service from Doctor and reception staff. Can't fault the service and got through on telephone after 3 attempts first thing in the morning. Well done everyone.

I just want to say thank you to Ibstock surgery for the service they give. I phoned at 8.30 waited less than 5 minutes for my call to be answered and offered an appointment later that morning is impressive! A breath of fresh air ! Thank you

I'm getting extremely fed up with this surgery. It takes upto 20+ mins for them to answer the phone, when I have seen the reception girls (4) sitting there & just letting the phones ring, doing nothing but talking to each other, when I've been waiting in the surgery waiting room.
