I called after having a severe period and bleeding constantly for over a month. I was told I could only receive a call in another months’ time but they couldn’t give me a time - I missed the call when it finally came by 30 seconds and when called straight back I was given another date in a weeks’ time. No call ever came. I ended up in A&E who said I needed to go back to the GP who can’t even be bothered to call when I have been bleeding for 8 weeks. Incredibly distressing practice to deal with in mine and my whole family’s experience over the years, and seems to be getting worse. I feel for the pressure they are under but what are people supposed to do?!

: I find the doctors at this surgery dismissive, arrogant and only able to cope with routine illnesses. Its true that GP's are 'General Practitioners' and have no particular specialisms, however, this should surely mean they should work together with their patients, rather than assuming that they know best and inflicting their ill-educated views on those patients who have experienced their conditions for many years. For your own peace of mind, I wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone with long term complicated illnesses, or for those expecting their view to be listened to and taken into consideration.
