  1. Review titled Bad experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

Requested medications on Monday wasn’t dealt with untill I called on Wed then got told has been booked a telephone appt for Friday got a call and then got told has been pssed to duty dr , duty dr did not issue and passed to another dr for when they’re in. Currently 33 weeks pregnant and suffering from severe heartburn and sciatica / pelvic pain got told by receptionist twice she can’t help and to by Gaviscon over the counter because dr won’t prescribe . Why should I buy medication over the counter when I get free prescriptions!! Now I have to buy this over the counter for the weekend and chase back on Monday! Really not happy with the service received and will definitely be moving practice.

  2. Review titled Worst in Wakefield!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Tabraiz Khan - Posted on 06 November 2023

My recent experience with this GP surgery has left me deeply disappointed. I initially requested an appointment through their app, provided my reason, but received no response. When I visited the clinic at the specified time on Friday at 5pm, I was informed that it was merely a request, and they would get back to me. On Monday, I received a message stating I had a scheduled call with a clinician, but to my dismay, it wasn't with a GP. When I inquired about a GP appointment, I was told I'd have to wait for two weeks due to the perennial issue of patient overload. This left me perplexed about why they maintain such large patient lists when they can't manage the demand effectively. The GP surgery, which used to be excellent, has deteriorated significantly. The online booking system has become unreliable and misleading. The staff appears unprofessional and lacks the necessary knowledge to provide compassionate care. These issues may be linked to poor management practices, which is disheartening given that taxpayers' money supports this service. Even during consultations with GPs (if one manages to get it), it feels rushed, possibly due to their efforts to accommodate more patients and administrative tasks. If the practice cannot meet its commitments, they should consider reducing their patient list to ensure better care. My overall experience with this surgery has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I would rate it as close to zero out of five.

  3. Review titled Shocking practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Shocking service, they make it out like they are doing you a favour and it’s a nightmare to actually see a GP, been with them for a few years and still never had a face to face with one, I am always fobbed off on the clinicians who can’t answer any questions. Please can I rather keep my money you take every month off my salary and pay for my own private healthcare.

  4. Review titled Abysmal service

Request a prescription at your own peril especially if it’s for lifesaving medicine they don’t care and pass the book constantly, this was the best in town once upon a time but sadly no more I will be relocating at the earliest chance.

  5. Review titled Used to be a wonderful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 June 2023

This practice used to be a wonderful but now it’s at rock bottom. Every time you request to speak to the practice manager they are always in a meeting, or not working that day. If they ask you to call back when you call back they’ve have gone home early. You leave your number they never call back. They never look at your medical notes, so you repeatedly have to give your medical history. Ever time is a new practitioner and very rarely a doctor calls you back on a tel appointment. They are wasting money and time through not being professionally organised or sufficiently trained to meet the needs of the person that needs medical help. I’m An -ex nurse and if my work ethic had been like this , then I would have expected to be removed. Sadly the compassion they once had has long gone, the professionalism they once had has also gone. I really don’t know how long it’s going to hang together which is again sad really.

  6. Review titled Mental health

Rated 1 star out of 5

Suffered with mental health problems (depression/anxiety) for yrs but I'm really struggling with anxiety atm, plucked the courage up to finally get help and what a absolute waste of time, didn't even get to speak with a Dr, received a phone call from nurse, not one question asked about how I was feeling, how anxiety was effecting my now none existence life, nothing, told no medication can be prescribed due to having asthma and told to contact turning point therapies myself even though i explained that was something I was struggling with and couldn't do.. and that was basically it, goodbye, I felt worse than ever after that call ended and would be extremely reluctant to ever ask for help again.. so much for helping pple with mental health problems

  7. Review titled Bad gp practice. Avoid!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 March 2023

Under the care of this clinic since 2019. Totally lack of real care and understanding of complex medical conditions! From reception to doctors and most of the staff, they all need serious training in customer care and medical knowledge. Terrible gp practice! I am looking for a new gp as we speak. Avoid if you really need profesional medical help! This isn't the one 4 u.

  8. Review titled Poor appointment availability and misleading booking process

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 23 March 2023

The online booking process looks great and seems to have excellent availability, but this is only an "appointment" to request the booking team look at your request. Seems like a fudge to hit targets. Once you get through this, it seems the next routine appointment is over 6 weeks away. I work in primary care and this is more than double the time in any of the 6 practices I work at. This delay is making me reconsider if my appointment is routine or should be classed as emergency. Please do not use the NHS app booking service in this way to manipulate access target results, and review processes or staffing levels so routine appointments can be seen in reasonable time and do not get escalated to emergency or hospital emergency department visits.

    Review titled Trinity Medical Centre

    Replied on 24 March 2023

Dear Patient, Thank you for your Feedback. System1 Online would have been traditionally used to directly book appointments with individual clinicians, however, our appointment system was redesigned in 2021 to enable us to deal with the large volume of requests we were receiving. Once a request is made, our skilled care navigators allocate an appointment with one of our clinical team who is best equipped to deal with your request. Our clinical team has grown to include mental health nurses, paramedics, clinical assessment nurses, first contact physios and pharmacists as well as GPs. We are working hard to reduce our routine waiting times by deploying extra clinical staff where possible and by having a GP triage requests. If you would like to know more about our appointment system please see our website https://www.tmcwakefield.co.uk/clinics-and-services/appointments/ If you would like to discuss your concerns please email our admin trinity.medicalcentre@nhs.net and a member of our Complaints team will contact you. Kind Regards Kim Holloway Practice Manager

  9. Review titled Very Unaccommodating

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 March 2023

I requested for blood workups since I have had abnormal results in a previous GP, they dismissed me right away without taking my history. Did not even take my baseline when I registered. There is no excuse for such poor service as a good number of GP patients are streaming to Hospitals, putting more pressure in our A&E as these patients can be sorted out by the GP.

  10. Review titled I do not recommend this gp to anyone!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 May 2023

Happy to quit this gp!Well, where to begin my review from..... The reception employees are clearly not competent enough for their job tasks, the so called gp's are useless if you ever get the chance to see them at all, the online website is confusing, badly managed and outdated. Avoid this clinic if you really care about gour health!
