    Have attended the clinic on Friday morning for blood withdrawal. Arrived at 11 but only after one hour before someone took us to the blood collection room. The clinic does not have anyone to come and the waiting room is empty. So, do not understand why they have to take one hour to have us to collect blood. When we talked to the receptionist and confirmed with her that we were here for blood withdrawal, that receptionist frowned and was highly impatient. This gave us a. Impression that she hated her employment here in this clinic but had no other job offers at the moment. We totally understand her feeling. I suggest the clinic should find someone who is willing to be employed rather than forcing someone (like the receptionist mentioned above) to work for them. In addition, when we told the receptionist that the window in the waiting room was open yet the radiator was on, she said that was totally fine. She also mentioned that she knew the energy will be wasted, but she said that she cannot care less as the energy bill will be paid by the clinic but not by her. She said that she has no obligation to help the clinic to save the energy and that the energy being wasted was not hers. I have no idea why the clinic will hire a receptionist like this. Maybe the clinic is really short of labour and hence has no choice but hire her.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback relating to the service you received when visiting the surgery last Friday. I'm sorry to hear you felt you didn't receive a good service when visiting our practice. Having looked through the clinic for last Friday I am unable to allocate an appointment that was left waiting an hour to be seen. I have also spoken to the receptionist that was working last Friday and she is unable to recall a conversation with regards to the energy. Just to clarify the heating system is set to come on when the surgery falls below a certain temperature which reception staff have no control over. The windows in reception during opening hours are required to be unlocked due to Health & Safety (fire risk) and often patients open the window and leave once they have left the waiting room. Due to staff annual leave the receptionist working last Friday was on her own until her colleague came in at lunch time therefore with other work load this have been an oversight on our side.     Having been told to have an appointment at 10:50, but only being able to see the doctor after almost 2 hours. Very disrespect to patients and very poor arrangement for consultation. If they really can see a patient only at around 1 pm, I see no point why they ask us to come at 10:50 to cause our time being wasted. Furthermore, the doctor here is very unprofessional. He likes to avoid handling medical problems to ease things out. Even worst is that for medical conditions that are out of his expertise, he still refuses to make any referral but just blames on the policy of NHS. He simply asks us to continue to endure the pain and illness because he said he fails to treat it while still will not refer you to any specialist for treatment. I have not seen an unresponsible and unprofessional GP like this. This is my first time to see this doctor since I register here, but because of the problem here and terrible experience here, I immediately go to other clinic to change my GP after having my first consultation here. I hope I can have a real treatment from a real doctor in a real clinic after changing my GP.
