    Could not get an appointment, have been trying for 4 days. Was told to keep trying which I did both morning and afternoon but still no luck. Finally called into the surgery and was told to call 111. No explanation as to why none were available. Very disappointed, have never experienced this before and other people were having the same issue while I was in the surgery. An explanation or something posted on the surgery website would help.

    I recieved a letter yesterday telling me I had 30 days to find a new Drs as I've just moved to Wf5 and the surgery in Wf3. After 8 years with this Drs I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with their treatment of me. I am currently going through a stressful time after having 4 cancer biopsies since Oct 23. The last one done on my face just last week leaving a huge scar and heavy bruising and swelling. I never leave the house and if I do it's with large sunglasses and they expect me to traipse around the town looking for a new Dr! This has added a huge amount of stress to my already monumental stressful situation. Having the support taken when I need it the most. Absolutely heartless.

    Over the past 4 weeks, I have needed care from my GP surgery, not needed a face to face appointment, but needed assistance with a number of medical issues for my family The care received was excellent, I felt that I was listened to, our situation didn’t need a face to face consultation, but needed care from our GP surgery, both been self employed providing a service to the public, it isn’t alway convenient to take last minute appointments but in this situation a telephone consultation sorted everything out. Even when i was without a phone signal the DR kept on trying until they reached me, the DR who called listened to me about my medical condition, advised the best action to take, to try and keep this under control, extra medication was prescribed and sent over to the pharmacy to collect within a couple of hours. I could not have asked for any better care, especially when in so much pain The care navigators are always friendly as are the nurses. I would say Lofthouse/Manse Surgery is one of the best in the area I would highly recommend them 5* 10/10

    I have always been proud of being part of a friendly survey and never had a problem getting appointments (although have experienced a long wait time). I rang Tuesday morning at 08:10 - 9th in the queue… eventually answered at 08:40. I was told only 5 appointments had been released that day and they had all gone. She suggested 111 (which has on average a 6-hr call back time), or trying the walk-I’m Centre. I said it was ridiculous and this is why people go to A&E when she said “I’m Not going to argue with you” For training purposes: People who call needing a doctor are not well / not their best so deal with the grumpiness. Make sensible suggestions for alternatives. Not once did you tell me when appointments will be released later in the day. Finally, please don’t comment to this by offering me to contact the surgery - because those lines are for people who need an appointment - which they can’t get! Instead, read the comments and act on them!

  5. Review titled Fantastic surgery and staff

    Contacted surgery at 1.30pm, seen by GP at 4.00pm, examined given appropriate advice, blood test following morning. All done within 22 hours. Could not have had better treatment anywhere. All staff very pleasant and approachable all the time.

    Super shocked to see negative reviews on this practice. Every time I have had a dealing with this surgery whether it be the receptionist, midwife, nurse, doctor .... it has always been super positive. The reception staff have always been super helpful and polite and fabulous if I need to get my daughter seen swiftly. The NHS is super stretched at the moment so it is important to remember this and also to be kind! everyone is doing a great job :)

    Unbelievable amount of time over 40mins trying to get through . From caller no 4then to caller no 5 now been waiting 50 mins . They need to seriously sort out contacting them call centre it’s ridiculous not happy now been on 55 mins

  8. Review titled Impossible to get appointments

    Anyone who wants an appointment here has to clog the lines up at 8:00 or 13:00 for the slim chance of getting one. I had two issues, but the doctor only had tine to talk about one so told be to book another appointment. When trying to book it, the receptionist explained she could only tell me what dates the doctor was in and then I have to ring two weeks before to "Try" and get another appointment. The service is embarrassing, the receptionists are unhelpful and intrusive (asking me what my personal problem was in a crowded waiting room) lacks any understanding with how people actually live and is a prime example of why people just go to A and E. Just book appointments like doctors used to do, It's not difficult, so why do you make it such an event?
