I was advised to have an ongoing stomach problem diagnosed. My GP recommended I be fast tracked for detailed examination. This duly took place at a specialist unit in Bradford little more than a week later.

Easy to book appointment online. Friendly staff. Bloods reviewed within a few days and appropriate referral done.

Receptionist booked an 8am appointment for today with pharmacist for an annual review. It is now nearly 9.30am and no call. Not the first time appointments have been non exsistent.

Called 08:00, number busy. Tried a couple of times “more than 30th in a queue” so requested a call back (slightly suspicious if it would work) and got one 35 minutes later. Left info. Got another call back 5 minutes later to arrange an appointment. Saw the doctor at 10:15. Super service especially on a Monday morning in winter. And doctor took my concern more seriously than me so excellent care too. Thanks

As is always the case, you only approach your medical practice when you require their help - and recently, being very unwell, I sought their help. I could not have been dealt with more professionally, respectfully or compassionately. Everyone at the surgery was superb and so understanding, and I could not have wished for better treatment. This is what makes our NHS such a wonderful institution - all the individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others - and of course, who are rightly the envy of the rest of the world?? You guys are all dipped in gold - and a simple thank you just doesn't seem enough, but it's heart felt and a recognition of my gratitude. Thank You everyone. Oliver
