  1. Review titled Appointment System

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been trying for weeks to get a review appointment with the doctor, one that the doctor requested. I sit daily in the queue, only after at least 30 minutes minimum to be told that all appointments have gone. I look every day for the pre-bookable appointments, never anything there. You promote on your website that you will put at least 50% of all appointments as pre-bookable as other Surgeries have. Why then, are there never any pre-bookable appointments available. What are you supposed to do when you too are trying to work in between trying to get an appointment.

Always get the answers/appointments I need. I can't fault the practice. I was diagnosed with a couple of health problems stemming from a work medical and the docs/nurse picked this up and I was in the system straight away. Can't fault them!

  3. Review titled There has to be a better appointments system

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I connected to the switchboard (followed by 2 minutes of complete silence which made me think my phone had gone dead) at 08:00 (this after pressing redial 20 times or so from 07:58 onwards). I was then subjected to the most irritating hold music ever composed: a very-much too jaunty and repetitive piece (for xylophone and guitar as far as I could make out - it is an extremely lo-fi recording). At about 08:10 they announced (the first such announcement) that I was number 38 in the queue. I was finally dealt with around 08:25 - by which point I was beginning to wonder whether any illness I might have could possibly be as bad as continuing to listen to the provided hold music. All this for a completely non-urgent matter for which I did not require a same day appointment. I am retired, but my wife (a teacher) still works for a living. This system is dreadful for me but completely unusable for her. Even if I can arrange for her to get a phone call from a GP, she can't just walk out of her classroom when her phone goes off at some random time of day. She could easily take time off for an appointment, but she needs to provide *notice*. There has to be a better system than this!
