It is very difficult to get an appointment. The reception staff are doing their best in difficult circumstances, though recently I have known them give out incorrect results which were critical. The Doctors do not seem to want to see patients and try at all costs to fob the off with nurses, muscular skeletal or 'the chemist. All the signing in technology is broken & even knowing this, there was no one at the welcome desk.. even the buzzer to request someone to come to the desk is broken leaving poorly people standing and waiting for a very long time. Very unwelcoming from start to finish practice that is now making mistakes. Obviously operating under stress but it feels like the whole place is crumbling on every level. I reiterate that the receptionists try their best and the nurses are very good at their job. Sadly it's a steep downward trajectory in the last few years for the patient experience.

  2. Review titled Terrible, uncaring practice

The doctors don’t care. No one listens. Reception staff giving out blood results and saying they’re normal when they are not, telling people they don’t need to carry on taking their medications anymore simply because the gp hasn’t done another prescription when actually that medication needs to be carried on for rest of life and GP practice should’ve put it on monthly’s to ask for every month by my pharmacy! They take ages to get back to u when you want to complain and sometimes they don’t even call back. Awful…go elsewhere don’t come to this practice it’s falling apart

  3. Review titled System setup to irritate patients

Rang for appointmemt between given times after long ivr message you select option for appointmemt it cuts you of. On continious replies it tells you appointments are fully booked but if you select another option to eventually get through to speak to someone do not expect compassion or someone civilised to answer the phone instead it's like a human dog barking at you. I made clear I understand no appointment is available but due to cancer related issue needed the ward number, the response was first "why are you calling this line it is a private line" "am just a secatery how can I tell you" nothing but kicking of and arguing and then they expect patients to not be rude or aggressive to them. Better of going straight to a&e.

  4. Review titled Incompetent staff

Rang to chase blood results. Was told they hadn't come back. But within less than 2 minutes they had. You ask to book an appointment you get told they can't ad the receptionist doesn't know what to book you one for. I have been at this doctor years now but it has really gone down hill.
