    I am fully aware of the fact, that the NHS is in trouble. However, from my own experience, the surgery and the hospital treated me extremely well. Thank you to all of you. Ingrid

  2. Review titled appointment system poor

    So I had to phone a separate company (klinik or something like) to the doctors for an appoiment, after a long wait, would have been quicker to walk to doctors and wait to be seen, I was told they would send me a link, I've to fill form out and a doctor would call in 24hrs, so Iwas sent a form which I'd already filled in, I'm still waiting over 7 days later. Have realised now after speaking to locals (as I'm originally from Harrogate that doctors in York are terrible to get appointments at, this system is really bad! Why fetch another party in to extend waiting times, especially one that doesn't work! I'm no longer going to try, it shouldn't be complicated to get an appointment, I'll just let my health deteriate, this society is becoming a privatised hell, not for me!

    Dear Ray, Firstly, I'm sorry for the delay in responding to you, and for the difficulties you experienced whilst using our klinik system. Klinik is what we ask our patients to fill in to request an appointment, it is used within YMG and not reviewed by any other parties. Klinik is used for both urgent and non urgent appointments. If you are still finding the system difficult to use, or would like to discuss this further, I would be happy to help where I can.
