  1. Review titled Shameful Surgery

ould give 0 stars if I could. Takes over 100 calls just to get in the queue, then you sit waiting in the queue for 30 minutes. Everything moved online to telephone appointments, I booked an appointment at 8:30 and had an email to say a doctor would call me within 2 hours of the appointment time. 3 hours pass and I haven’t heard anything. Rang the surgery, waited 25 minutes in the queue to be told the time is just an estimate and they’ll call any time before 12pm. Receptionist was apologetic but why give an appointment time if they aren’t accurate. Wasted a whole morning waiting for a call back. Tried to ring back at 12:00 for them to be closed for lunch for an hour and a half. Automated message said to press 1 for the emergency line, I didn’t press anything and it automatically put me through. Got put through to a very rude receptionist who said there’s an emergency and I’ll just have to wait. I appreciate emergencies take priority but the lack of communication is abysmal. It’s now 12:45 and still haven’t heard anything. Worst surgery in Nuneaton, absolutely avoid.

  2. Review titled Utterly Awful

Used to be one of the very best but now it might possibly be the worst in Nuneaton. If you're lucky enough to get through to the automated message, you then need to try to get through to the appointment line which i'm yet to do after almost a week of calling every morning. I used to love this GP, all the staff are wonderful and i've always been very well looked after but it's needs a complete overhaul i'm afraid. So many other practices in Nuneaton are far better.

  3. Review titled Cannot make contact

Rated 1 star out of 5

Following recent health concerns I tried to make an appointment. I just kept getting the engaged tone for 45 mins & then a message that all appointments are gone ! There is no other way of making contact. I registered for the online service where the website states you can make appointments, linked the surgery only to get a note that this surgery has no appointments. “Contact us”is just an address, map & phone number.. What i find totally unacceptable is that the whole surgery closes for lunch for an hour and a half.. If you can get into the phone queue prior to this break, at 12.00 you just get kicked out. Oh, and it’s still taking new patients !! I know how difficult the whole NHS is at the minute, but this surgery needs a review of how it’s managed, the processes it uses & basic customer care.

  4. Review titled Used to be a good GP service but now it is not

Rated 2 stars out of 5

It takes an age to get through to speak to a receptionist and there is no call back facility. When you do get through there are no appointments left and you are told to call back tomorrow. You do that and go through the whole scenario again and again. It is no wonder people end up blocking Accident and Emergency when you cannot even get to speak to a doctor. It is just not good enough. It makes you anxious about getting ill and needing a doctor because you know you will not get one. I myself ended up in the end going to the out of ours at the George Eliot Hospital a few months ago as this was the only way to access a doctor. Things need to improve for patient safety.
