I reported a Covid positive test on Sunday and received a call on Monday telling me I was vulnerable which I have never been told before. The doctor gave me advice, prescribed medication, and then followed up for the following days until she was sure I was on the mend. All the advice I got from my GP was "Call 999 you should be in hospital". I could not walk down the garden path to get in a car, ambulances and nurses on strike but he obviously did not know this in his fairy land. Thank you Doctor whose name I cannot remember due to the brain fog.

Five days after informing my surgery and NHS covid site that I was covid positive and in the vulnerable group I got an email from this lot saying I was not eligible for treatment. There is a number on the text, 0333 332 4020 to call with questions but having tried several times it appears to be a waste of time as no one answers and eventually you get cut off.

I am Covid Positive and understood I was in a vulnerable group. I have had letters from NHS saying this. Therefore I was expecting to have antiviral therapy today. Instead I received a text today to say I did not qualify. No explanation. No contact details. In a no reply text. This is appalling. Then to make it even worse when I go to find the South Worcestershire PCT LTD on line to contact the Covid Management Service I find no mention of them on the PCT website and no contact details for the PCT itself besides an address. Where is the accountability ? Where is the explanation? Who is this shadowy service with such power but no contact details? I cannot believe what I am experiencing from your Trust. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with no possibility of speaking to anyone about it. I have ME and I am on steroids for an autoimmune disease. The thought of having long Covid on top of all that is hugely anxiety provoking.
