Had no idea what to do with the adoption form. Was not interested I even being there and still had her coat on. Made me feel uneasy whilst there and stressed me out . Don’t put your health in monument surgeries hands

I am extremely sorry you have felt the need to add this review without going through the complaints process at the surgery and giving the surgery a chance to respond. As we come to the end of the year, we just wanted to tell you how much we appreciate all of the hard work carried out by everyone in the practice, both at Barmston and The Gallaries. We have each needed several appointments with GPs and Nurses throughout 2023. The care we have received has always been of the highest standard and delivered with warmth and empathy. Your Receptionists and admin staff are always very responsive, understanding and efficient. We are aware of the immense pressure on General Practice. However, the pressure you must be under is never obvious in the way in which you deliver the service. We envisage that you are like swans, gliding along the surface, whilst paddling furiously underneath! Once again, thank you for everything. We wish you all a happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year.

I wanted to say a big thank you to Barmston surgery for helping my 11 year old daughter yesterday at reception . She had lost her phone and was concerned and needed help and I had always taught her to go to the surgery if she was ever needing any help - reception called me on her behalf and stayed with her until someone safe arrived. I wanted to say a big personal thank you to you all

Since Barmston and Galleries doctors have started using their new triage system it has been so easy to get an appointment. You do it online no need to wait in a queue to be told there are no appointments left. Great work!

Monument at Galleries have a new system and it is working so much better never been more than 5th in the queue since rather than than 25th like before. They ring us back within the hour with an appointment depending on how urgent you need it. Also have an online form you can complete from the comfort of your own home rather than lengthy telephone queues.

Monument surgeries at the Galleries/Barmston are great. They have always managed to at least get me a call back either same day and often seen the same day.

It’s like gold dust trying to get an appointment to see anyone. Yesterday I called to get a Dr appointment and got told a DR would call me back between 4-6, I then received a text saying it would be 3.50 slightly annoying they can’t get the times right in a two hour window. It wasn’t a DR who called me it was a nurse who couldn’t help me at all really as I needed to speak to a dr the nurse lied to me and told me there was nothing that I could be prescribed to help with my issue but I know that’s not the case. If I had spoken to a Dr like I asked they should have been more informed on what I can and can’t be prescribed for my issue. This is not the only issue iv had trying to get appointment’s or finding out consultants have lied on my medical records saying I only wanted a procedure to help my varicose veins for cosmetic reasons I categorically never once said that but according to my records I did. I 100% would not recommend GP alliance to anyone.

Dear Miss Mitford, I am very sorry that you felt the need to complain ,This is not the quality of service we wish to deliver, We are aware of the issues we face around offering patients appointments at the moment. We are introducing a new system on Monday 17th April called "Alliance Care" and we are very confident that this will allow us to offer our patients much better access to our appointments offering a much fairer and need based approach. This in no way negates the bad experience you have had but will relieve some of the pressure currently faced by our staff and in turn will hopefully create an atmosphere which if more patient focused and supportive. I'm sorry you feel you would not recommend the Practice and for any issues relating to a Consultant you would need to raise this with the hospital team, Regards Kevin Doran Assistant Head of General Practice
