I have used the practice multiple times over the last year and have found the practice staff to be excellent, GPs are extremely knoweldgeble and careing. I also have health anxiety and the GPs cant do enough to reassure. In my 37 years, this is the best and most well run GP surgery I have used. 100% recommend for anyone local. The way the booking system works is genious, but does require you to be quick on a morning to get the initial appt but follow up appointments are booked in advance.

I have tried for 3 weeks to get appointments how can they all be gone at 1 minute past 8 and no ring backs also all gone what I used to think was a good doctors is now a farce. If you need a steroid injection you can’t have a routine appointment but you can’t get an appointment to get the injection what a carry on . So how do you see a doctor then can someone tell me

I have used this surgery for the last three years since moving up north in 2019. The doctors and nursing staff are brilliant and have looked after me and my family well. When we have needed further interventions they have referred quickly and efficiently and followed them up to ensure we have been dealt with. I'm not going to say its easy to get through in the mornings but no surgery is - pre or post Covid. I have found the introduction of the E-Consult very helpful and easy to use which then gets me to be spoken or seen by the appropriate person without trying to battle against the 8am madness of everyone on speed dial. I speak to people all day in my job and I get told all the time that they can't get to see a doctor for over a month and sometimes more, so I know which surgery I would rather be with. The surgery followed the pandemic guidelines very well and tried to keep the patients and staff safe and I think people forget the staff need to be safe too else they end up off sick and that adds to the issues some people have moaned about.
