We came up north last weekend to visit my 90year old dad, he is very wobbly on his legs, deaf as a post, I asked him if he had organised his flu and covid jabs, which he hadn't because of not been able to hear on the telephone and not at all computer savvy, also he mentioned that he was still in a lot of pain with his hips and had ran out of the painkillers the doctor had prescribed on the last visit, because they were not on repeat, he was unable to get them . I Phoned the surgery, and spoke to a very helpful receptionist, she managed to get dad an appt for last Saturday so we could bring him, also gave me the telephone number to ring to arrange the covid jab, and then with no lecture about "use ask my GP" or re taking prescriptions over the phone, she organised the script, also organised an appt to see the physio re the hip pain. I was so grateful to the good old fashioned caring service. Well done guys.

We were booked in for our flu jabs this morning. The organisation was brilliant. We were in and out before our appointment time. No complaints here.

  3. Review titled Absolutley Shocking

If anything could show that the NHS is in freefall, then the actions of this practice are a perfect example. Having only been registered with this surgery for a few weeks, I have had one appointment and one cancelled appointment due to being very unwell. I suffer from major mental health issues including PTSD & EUPD and several major physical disabilities including Emphysema & Diabetes, and I have just received a letter from NHS England informing me that the GP Practice has requested my removal from their register, no reasoning, no explanation, no nothing. Welcome to the world of uncaring and unprofessional GPs who love the money but not the duty of care that goes with it...

  4. Review titled Excellent Patient Care

I am more than happy to leave an excellent review for this practice. They have a great team working for them who treat you with respect. I have been poorly for a few months and spoke to a GP this week. She ordered lots of urgent tests and referrals. She was very thorough and warm and friendly which put me totally at ease. Every GP practice in the country are experiencing so much pressure at the moment so they deserve credit where credits due.

After having poor experiences with waiting times on the phone. I got through on Monday morning in a few minutes, receptionist was helpful and got mam a needed appointment. We saw the practice nurse (soon to be nurse practitioner) and she was fantastic, caring, gentle and professional. Its great to see the service improving. :)
