  1. Review titled Only emergency bloodtests available.

Rated 1 star out of 5

The surgery has insufficient needles,so my healthcare blood tests were not allowed. I was treated ok by paramedic associate, but no follow up care to her examination is possible at this surgery.Wait for a GP is a month. Inadequate practice, best avoided.

  2. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

It’s not very often I visit the practice, but the past couple of days I required immediate attention. The whole team were more than accommodating, doctors, nurses, reception and the practice manager. All of whom proved that this practice is more than just bricks and mortar! I’m grateful to the staff that work here, displaying humanity despite the pressures of being extremely busy. 10/10

  3. Review titled Failing. Utter contempt for Patients.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Absolutely disgusting. The receptionists are the gate keepers, requiring that you have to give all the details your medical illnesses in the waiting room for all to hear. You call in the practice when you're walking past - they sit chatting in the back office and when the do come to the desk, they refuse to help as if you want to book an appointment you can only do it on the telephone. After listening to the practice Dr on the answer machine for around 3-4 minutes you then can speak to reception, but they disconnect your call and simply, don't answer. So my advice is keep calling till they answer the phone. If you have an emergency you have to ring between 8 and 8.30. 8.30 to 12 to book appointments but they refuse to give them out in reality and say you have to ring between 8 and 8.30. And if you have a general enquiry you can only ring between 2 - 4pm. The student rota still isn't available after waiting 3 weeks. It is my opinion they have absolutely no intention whatsoever to provide appointments. God knows how the students will ever learn. They'll never get to see a patient in the flesh! The cryo clinic was cancelled permanently. The well woman clinic isn't a thing anymore. On the answer machine you are invited to use e-consult but now I'm informed they "are overwhelmed with it and can't cope so they have shut it down and going to see how it goes", they are "just going to use the 8-8.30 appointment system" (which you can never get an appointment by ringing). Funny enough, when you do go in, it's always deserted. I can tell why. Absolutely shambolic. Disgusting. Failing attitudes. Again, busy working tax payers are penalised when they want to take care of their health. You would think that the Government would want a healthy workforce to keep paying taxes! I am coming around to the fact that private health insurance might be the way forward. Very sad for all. Many of us just can't afford to.
