    I moved house and was asked to fill in a form and post it back around October last year, to which I did. I then made an appointment for a blood test. I arrived for my blood test today and was told I was no longer registered at the practice so I no longer had my appointment. When I asked why they said they didn't receive the form and if they don't receive it within 30 days, you are the deregistered. I posted the form almost straight away from when they gave it to me which would have been 60 days or more ago, which I explained. I also can't understand how I was allowed to make an appointment. They could not answer that for me. They said they do not inform a patient they are no longer registered either which I find disgusting. So here I am, not registered anywhere and was hoping to see a doctor about having flu symptoms for 8 days straight now. I was told by the receptionist to go to a hospital to have a blood test if it was important. When I arrived they said I needed to have been referred by the practice which of course I was not, and was not told this information. I find it disgraceful how I have been treated. I'm nearly 40 but should this have been an elderly or disabled person to have to have gone through this and paying for numerous taxis (I don't drive) - this is not a good way of conducting a process. Why do you as a practice not inform people of anything? What is your reason for this? I've managed to register at a different practice and they've said it takes weeks to gain my medical records especially when I'm not registered anywhere! I could have registered somewhere else or completed a new form had I been informed. Terrible service received.

    I had a telephone appointment booked on Thursday 6 October,on Wednesday afternoon I received a phone call from my doctor which was so unexpected due to how busy the GPs are. After a brief chat my GP advised me to have a face to face appointment the following day at 9am. She was so friendly,supportive & couldn’t do enough for me,I am truly grateful. I couldn’t recommend this prac any higher. The reception staff were also very accommodating when I needed a print out of my recent blood test. 10 out of 10 Thank you all.
