    2nd visit to the centre for Microsuction - this time even better than the first ( and that was very good too ) terrific communication, caring and informative as well as painless and efficient microsuction treatment. Many Thanks PS the review sheet being handed out does not allow you to leave a review on the nhs - uk choices website and the lack of an obvious contact email for the Bewdley medical centre is disappointing

    My mother called up this practise on Monday 29th April to say she did not feel well and was struggling to breath, and all the nurse who called her back could say was take paracetamol and some vitamins, after pushing again my mum finally got through to a doctor the next day but this time was complaining her lung was in a horrible pain and she couldn’t walk, after finally getting seen she was rushed to Worcester hospital. After hours of waiting around we found out she had pneumonia! The fact that she was recommended paracetamol and vitamins is honestly ridiculous, she is nearly 70 years old and this is what they tell their patients, disgusting! This isn’t the only issue we have had with this practise in the last couple of years, but this is the worst so far.

    I attended for ear microsuction procedure today and as much as these things can be this was a wonderful experience. The operator was welcoming, cheerful and reassuring. The procedure was professionally performed with an explanation as needed throughout. no pain and only very mild discomfort was experienced. I have nothing but praise for the operator and could not have been more pleased with the positive outcome.

    Saw Blood nurse Mrs s.g and she was extremely helpful and kind, having a fear of needles she definitely had her work cut out but she was patient and quick to get the blood test done and kept talking to me while she did it to take my mind off the actual blood test, can’t thank her enough for her patience and time, would definitely recommend to someone whose not kean on needles/blood tests

    Only ever book in with one particular phlebotomist,im always greets with a friendly smile.she's the only one who can get blood out of my arm(many have tried and failed).used to avoid blood tests at all costs after so many bad experiences but thanks to her patience and care im no longer worried as its so quick and painless.

    A practice I previously held in high esteem. Recent experiences have rapidly changed that opinion. Most recently needing to book an urgent appointment for pain relief I was unable to contact the surgery via the phone. I was directed to an online portal that repeatedly told me it was unavailable due to excess demand and that I should call the surgery ! When eventually the surgery did answer, they told me try the online portal the next day at 7am. Unbelievable. My second experience. I used the surgery app to book a blood test, no questions about why I wanted a blood test, no reference to needing to be referred by a GP for the blood test. However, when I arrived for my appointment, having booked time off work, I was then told very bluntly by the HCA that I couldn't just turn up for a blood test without a GP referral. I pointed out that at no time did the app present such information, to which she said "well that's the way it works and there's nothing I can do". Patient care appears now to have no significance with this practice. No doubt they will say "we are only following government guidance". Well, one look at the current government will tell you everything about failure.

    Dear patient, I am sorry to see you have had a negative experience at the medical centre. When booking a blood test, we do require this to have been requested by either a GP or consultant, this means we can send your test off for the appropriate results. This enables us to provide the best care for the patients. Regarding our phones access, the most recent report shows we are answering 89% of all calls that queue, in an average of 6 minutes. While I appreciate this can fluctuate depending on the time of day, our team work incredibly hard to respond to all queries as quickly and safely as possible.     Today I received a phone call from the CKD nurse regarding my ongoing issues with abdominal pains. She explained to me that there is a possibility of having CKD and then went into an in depth explanation. She mentioned I will also be receiving a letter explaining this further. She was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions and after speaking with her she managed to set my mind at rest. In the end I can't thank her enough for contacting me.

    Ears was sore but the lady did get some wax out, had to wait 3 weeks, she noticed I eczema on my neck and hair and recommended centrben, only had a 50ml tube and it's running out, thank you
