Bottle feeding help and support

mum and baby talking to health professional

Whether you have chosen to bottle feed with formula or expressed milk (or a combination of both), it can feel quite overwhelming in the beginning.

You are not alone, please remember there is help and support available whenever you need it.

Midwives and health visitors

If you need any bottle-feeding advice, you can speak to your midwife or health visitor. They are there to support you and can provide lots of helpful information and advice. If you need to speak to them in between appointments, you should find their contact details in your baby's red book. Ask them to show you the page when you first get it.

NCT (National Childbirth Trust)

Whether you are bottle feeding or breastfeeding (or both), call the NCT support line if you have any questions or concerns: 0300 330 0700 (lines are open every day, 8am to midnight, including bank holidays).

Have a look at the NCT YouTube channel for bottle feeding videos.
