Overview

NHS is changing!!

From 9 January Paradise Medical Centre will be able to provide additional face to face appointments to our patients. Coventry and Rugby CCG have made provisions to fund additional doctor time to facilitate this. The additional surgeries will be conducted initially on Thursday 1pm to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 11am.  The senior Doctors: Dr M G mistry, Dr D Patel, Dr H Ramezani and Dr D Mistry will attend in a rotation. We are confident that this additional capacity will be very useful in coping with the huge demands. Please make an appointment as usual by contacting reception - 02476689343, or on line www.paradisemedcalcentre.nhs.uk. We welcome this new initiative as this type of funding is badly needed to make the NHS functional again.

Important develoment to meet demand for appointments to see a doctor or nurse: The practice provides additional appointments in the evenings and weekends. These are bookable through our reception. You may be offered an appointment at a health centre or another GP practice in Coventry. They will have access to your notes held at this practice. These organisations are approved to provide services out of hours. This scheme is funded by the Prime Minister's challange fund money. This special funding has been provided to cope with ever rising demands for appointments. Please seriously consider using this facility.

Comments

We have a number of comments relating to receptionists and car parking. We are keen to improve services and to do this we need further information to address the problem. May I please request that the person making the comment please as a separate action contat me , Dr Dalpat Mistry ( please leave a phone number in a sealed envelope addressed to Dr D Mistry confidential) so that I can fully understand the issues involved. In any case we have had a huge change in staff members.

We have been told that the car park will be made avialable in September.
