We have been inspected by the CQC. Our services have been rated GOOD. Please see detailed report below.

Dr Anna Ngyen a female GP is now doing regular sessions at the surgery.

We are introducing online appointments, access to your summary care records and online repeat prescripton service. This will happen from 13 March 2015.

Patients wishing to take advantage of these services will have to register by filling in a form in person at the surgery, presenting a photo identity and proof of address. This  is necessary to maintain confidentiality of your records. The issue regarding access by third party for a young person  is complicated. We will enable this when we ascertain that we will be following the guidelines for third party access.

A recent development has severely restricted availability of car parking at our surgery. Broad Street Health Centre has closed and the car park has been leased by the ambulance service. Unfortunately there was no cosultation with the practice. Please use public transport, cycle or come on foot as far as possible. Also we provide telephone consultations when face to face assessment may not be necessary.

We have improved our appointments system. See how to make appointments for details.

We are working towards online appointment booking and online prescription ordering. The software has been installed. Staff training in progress. Will be live from 1 July 2014.

Making appointment system better - we are introducing telephone triage for patients requesting face to face consultation. Often the request is for prescription query or blood test results. These can be dealt with over the phone without need for a face to face consultation.

Telephone appointments

We have introduced telephone appointments with doctor of your choice. Ring 76689343 as usual for this service.

Useful for: Discussing any follow up issues including blood tests, xrays and scans; Continuing sickness certificate for a known problem; Medicines review / reauthorisation if you have had recent blood tests or reviews with the nurse; and other issues you feel would be appropriate.
