The NHS Friends and Family Test

Over the past 9months patients visiting the Practice have been encouraged to take the Friends and Family Test, which asks the question 'How likely are you to recommend our GP Practice to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?'.  Patients can either fill in a card and put it in a box in the Waiting Room, or complete a short on line questionnnaire on a computer which is also in the Waiting Room.

There are 6 categories to chose from - 'extremely likely', 'likely', 'neither likely or unlikely', 'unlikely', 'extremely unlikely' and 'don't know'.  The majority of patients chose 'extremely likely' or 'likely', with only one patient chosing 'unlikely', giving no reason for this choice.  Patients are free to add comments if they wish and these have been fulsome in their praise of both Doctors and staff, and the appointment system.
