Your Review: Had a day procedure at this hospital, All staff were amazing and I felt at ease immediately, everyone of them are kind, caring and supportive The ward and theatre were so clean and well kept, credit to all those wonderful staff

Attended Gynae Colposcopy clinic. Had biopsies taken. The consultant and two nursing staff were exceptional. This is not the nicest procedure to go through yet they made me feel at ease. Each were professional throughout and were thoughtful and caring from the moment I walked into the procedure room until the moment I walked out. Everything they said and did was to make the experience as least traumatic as possible. They succeeded. What a super team. I would also like to give a shout out to the reception staff and the cleaning staff. The receptionist was professional yet very friendly. The cleanliness of the waiting area and the clinical area was of a high standard. Thank you

I had an appointment for an ultrasound scan and hysteroscopy. From initial referral from my GP, I received my appointment within 7 days. The staff on the Gynaecology Outpatient Dept were incredible. The consultant and 2 nursing staff explained everything and put me at ease throughout the procedure. They were totally respectful, reassuring and just lovely. They made an uncomfortable procedure more bearable, and I cannot thank them enough for the care they showed me at each stage of my appointment. What an incredible team! Thank you.

I am a fit 76yrs old man due to a hip problem my leg gave way and I crashed to the ground at a Colne super market. My wife took me straight to the urgent care unit at Burnley the treatment I recieved was amazing. The young doctor who saw me was brilliant as was everyone involved in seeing me from registration to discharge. I was given an x ray again so competent and kind. The doctor revieviewd my x ray immediately and advised me on the problem a trapped nerve. The whole consultation from registration to discharge took only two hours. Please thank everyone the service and care I recieved was excellent. Thank you.

I went to the fairhust building for an outpatient clinic for my eyes only to be told that it had been cancelled in July and that noone had bothered to email me or ring me inform me of the situation, about an hour later I received a call from them saying that they had a cancellation in Blackburn on Saturday 1st October,the only one that they had which is far too short a notice for me to attend, Ialso booked a day off for the cancelled appointment and would have had to book another day off for the Saturday appointment. I also had a previous appointment cancelled before this one because the consultant was on holiday, does that mean that you have only 1 eye consultant in the whole hospital ? Very poor service in my opinion

Had smear test today done by the head nurse who tried many times but I got so anxious so I was on gas and air which then allowed me to get it done .The nurse with the who who did it was realy nice as tried to calm me down and the nurse who did it was very patient as did it slowly .I was very impressed with both nurses as were both very friendly ,patient ,reassuring .

Had an outpatient appointment today and the whole experience was amazing. Helpful at main reception for directions which were spot on. Next at Rheumatology outpatients reception extremely friendly and helpful. Then to the doctor I saw who without a doubt was the nicest Dr ever! Caring, understanding and very informative when explaining my condition to myself and my son. I felt totally understood and looked after. Onto blood test next where the nurse was so efficient and caring...whilst waiting for my turn another nurse passing by saw my prescription and offered to drop it off at the pharmacy so that I wouldn’t have a long wait..again, above and beyond! Sure enough it was ready and waiting. Thankyou so much to everyone involved in my experience today. Truly amazing.

I just want to thank the ladies taking care of Me at my appointment I have anxiety issues and I was petrified but the way they work made me feel so at ease and I managed to have the procedure done without too much trauma Thank you you are an amazing team xx

I visited for Endoscopy/ Colonoscopy, I was incredibly anxious but the team were fantastic from arriving through to departure. Everything was explained thoroughly to me, and they were immediately on top of any discomfort I experienced. Thank you to everyone there, you helped so much to lessen the anxiety and fear I had.
