I had to visit the surgery three times this week. The professionals I saw were excellent - patient, caring and hugely informative and eager to ensure my current conditions are resolved and managed. Thank you.

I was recently seen by the doctor new to me whose assessment of my health needs after having been to A&E was thorough and to the point relieving me of symptoms I have been suffering for several years. She also listened empathetically that I felt able to open up to her. She dealt with efficiently all my concerns and offered advice and the tests and she deemed necessary immediately. Today another member of the telephone enquiry team responded to my request immediately with an email. As an older patient the recent responses have been encouraging and reflective of the high standards the Ridgeway enjoyed in the past. Thank you for these recent efforts to bring back those high standards.

I was in a panic after being told by a pharmacist that I should see a doctor urgently. The receptionists were so sympathetic and helpful. I was able to see a doctor later the same day, and she was wonderful too - even checking to see what time the pharmacy was open till. I felt greatly reassured by everyone I had contact with. Many thanks to one and all.

I phoned to see a doctor for some skin moles which I was worried about and a PSA test and was told to phone at 8am the next morning. Since I work and can be 150 miles away this does not work. I have not seen a doctor for probably 2 years or more and find this system very poor. I was sent a link to contact a doctor and that service is not available either and asks you to try the next day. Is it any wonder that the hospitals clog up with patients that should see a a local doctor first and the 111 line takes up the doctors booking non service approach aided by non helpful receptionists that don't put customer care first. If it was a private business it would disappear very fast.

I have recently spoken to several staff including the Pharmacist, a locum GP and one of the Reception staff. All were extremely professional, helpful and informative. Just as importantly they took the time to listen. Thank you.

I have been registered with the Ridgeway Surgery for many years and have always received an excellent service. We all know how under pressure the NHS is but I can honestly say I am continually impressed and grateful for the support the doctors, nurses and receptionists all provide. From the regular and fairly mundane requests to dealing with more serious health issues. Ashley Gibbins

I've always had a bad experience with this surgery and always held up on getting treatment cause I didn't want want the stress of booking and never getting an app. However, this time its was quick to get seen. The phone line is a bit better and let's you know where you are on the call. The receptionist picked up straight away and didn't really dive into asking what's wrong/symptoms, they just offered me an appointment for the same day! It blew me away, felt like I won the GP lottery. Anyway,the doctor wasn't rushing me like they have done in the past. I got a quick referral to Whipps and they emailed me a copy of the letter the same day! That's what I call being efficient. 4 days later the hospital even rang and offered me a same day app. Amazing. Please keep up the good work, what ever your doing is working. Don't let standards drop its the best I've ever known it to be.

I was seen on time by a fabulous Doctor who's name I don't think I'm allowed to mention (which is a shame) but she was fabulous. Thank you to all the staff and the receptionist, I called at 8am and was seen at 10.10am on the same day. Brilliant!

The Receptionist showed extreme patience and understanding at a time when I was very stressed and worried. A calming influence with can do actions.
