I had a medication review with my GP, who has been my GP for 31 years. He reviewed my medications one by one and made suggestions where necessary and answered any concerns and questions. As usual he was excellent. I needed a printout of my last Blood Test and again the Care Coordinator was very efficient, professional and treated me with respect. Also, I had to pick-up my repeat medications. The dispenser I saw was efficient, friendly and answered my questions. The Dispensary is currently under a lot of pressure and there was a queue but the dispenser made time for me and quickly found my medications and items I needed to buy.

I was grateful to be able to ring at 08:00 and obtain a same day appointment with my GP. I hope the follow on required referral to gastro is available as quickly but having waited for over a year so far I am not sure that will be the case.

Had to wait a short while for a non-urgent appointment but the appointment was on time and the GP knew my issues and wad also able to offer support with my family situation as my father's carer.

My GP is amazing, So helpful and friendly. She goes out of her way to help her patients and she was the reason my cancer was detected so early on. The staff on Reception are so polite and kind. I can’t thank my Doctor and staff enough for everything they have done for me.

I was able to see my named GP on the day that I rang which may have been a lucky coincidence! As always my GP listened carefully and gave full consideration to symptoms. This and a thorough examination facilitated a sensible action plan for treatment together with a back up plan if symptoms persist. The consultation was effective and competent, did not seem hurried and gave me confidence .

I was pleased to secure an appointment on the day I telephoned, as I was keen to have my medication changed if that was appropriate for one of my problems and for treatment for another. I was seen quickly and the friendly, professional consultation resulted in both requests being met to my satisfaction. A very good service. Thank you.

Visited the surgery on the 8th March 2024. Easy parking, lovely Doctor, visited the on site pharmacy. Great experience would highly recommend.

My experiences at The Downland Practice have been incredibly this. Here are some of the highlights: 1. Respectful and reactive reception staff 2. Appointments available at short notice and follow up appointments available in a timely manner. 3. Incredibly supportive GP where I felt my concerns were listened to and respected and I felt held with empathy and compassion. I did not feel rushed during my consultation. 4. Thorough assessment and comprehensive plan has been agreed with me. I work within the NHS and within my role I hear horror stories of patients not being able to get hold of, or see their GP in a timely manner. I am so grateful that this has not been my experience. The Downland Practice have clearly worked hard to get back to some normality post covid and it shows in their exemplary service. I extend my sincerest thanks to all of the staff.
