    Thank you to the wonderful team at Arch Medical Center for your excellent service. The care I received was top-notch, with every member of staff showing genuine concern for my well-being. The communication was clear, and the medical advice was tailored to my needs, making me feel well cared for and supported. This is a model of what healthcare should look like.

    Reception staff really friendly and welcoming. Before the appointment they ring to double check what you have booked in for (to make the best use of doctors time) which is good as they signpost elsewhere if needed. The doctors were very efficient and (as always) was able to see someone in person which makes such a difference in terms of communication, feeling heard and not having to sit by a phone for the whole day/ morning to then be brought in. Also the fruit in reception is great! Staff are really helpful and they listen to feedback. Any health issues have been so much easier to sort and manage compared to with previous gp practices

    The waiting room was busy with patients today. Clearly lots of staff working hard. There was fresh fruit for patients and lots of information around. Nice, clean and bright place considering it’s a doctors surgery. Also free wifi.

    With a recent issue obtaining medication due to supply issues, i felt that i was treated in a compassionate and caring way. The reception staff stayed really calm and professional and gave me the time to explain things, and they also were understanding of my communication needs. I think it could help to have the names of staff on the website so there are familiar faces/ names to recognise eg with a summary of the doctors special interests, but really happy with the practice and grateful for the help provided. Thank you!

    The doctors and medical staff at this surgery are attentive, professional, knowledgeable and are all round great and I couldn't praise them any more. What really lets this surgery down is the staff who answer the phones - their entire goal is to usher you away, whether or not they've actually dealt with your problem or not. They really couldn't care less in helping your issue or sign posting you in the right direction, they just incentivise you as much as they can to look elsewhere. Considering they are the face of their doctor's surgery, that just astounds me. Every single time I interact with them it's incredibly disheartening, as they don't answer your queries and just come back with useless and empty suggestions or advice. I just rang up asking about updating a prescription as there's a manufacturing issue with the pharamcies, and the reply I got was "I'll message someone, OK?", and I literally had to probe with multiple questions as what exactly that means as she was trying to hang up the phone. I had no idea what exactly had been resolved or what the next steps were? They genuinely couldn't care any less about your issue, they just want you off the phone. Not long ago I rang about holiday vaccines, before I had even finished my sentence their reply was "we don't do that here, OK?" and just before she was about to hang up after deploying her 'golden advice' I had to say "can I have a bit more than that please, where should I go to?". They either have not been trained sufficiently to deal with relevant patient issues, or they simply do not care. I'm going to go for a mixture of both.

    I am a single man who must fulfill my obligations every day in order to survive I have taken several days of my holidays to attend medical appointments at The Arch Medical Practice 2 hours before my appointment I receive calls or text messages informing that my appointment has been canceled after 3 weeks waiting for it I don't see it as right that The Arch Medical Practice should waste our time in this way Once our appointment is cancelled, there is no point in calling for an explanation because there will always be excuses This center does not take things seriously and life today is not for this type of event I would like to know if I could change my medical center to try my luck in another GP because getting to The Arch Medical Practice to attend my appointment without being cancelled is now a matter of luck and not responsibility on the part of health The Arch Medical Practice

    Experiences Nurses Kind, compassionate, caring and patient. Ensured that my wellbeing was maintained throughout and checked up on me multiple times to make sure that I had fully recovered. Doctors Thorough, empathic, organised, knowledgeable, focused and determined. Spent time with me to consider my needs and previous experience of care to ensure the best future outcomes. Chased up referrals, produced clear and consistent steps/ to moved forward and reach an accurate diagnosis. Another doctor called me promptly to go through test results shortly after they had been received and was helpful, kind and polite. The doctor had a good understanding of the background of the case and what to do next, he applied very person centre approach and made me feel at ease. Secretaries Helpful, patient and attentive The secretaries at this practice do the best they can to ensure that you can be seen as soon as possible and are very hospitable in approach within practice. I feel that this practice continually operates at and outstanding level. Keep up the outstanding work it's much appreciated!

    Sometimes it’s hard to get through to the surgery to make appointments I think maybe they have to many patients I have been using this surgery for many years now but seems to be getting harder to get appointments

I am extremely sorry that you have found it difficult to get an appointment recently. We have increased our on the day and pre-bookable appointments by recruiting new GP's so I would really like to discuss the barriers you face faced in more detail so that I can understand what may have gone wrong and to help you understand the ways you can successfully book an appointment with a GP. Please may I kindly ask that you reach out to me at the Practice (0161 226 0606) so that we discuss in details the problems you have experienced? One very quick way to book an appointment is by downloading the NHS App. If you go on the App at 8am Monday to Friday, you can easily book an on the day appointment or an appointment 6 days in advance. You can also view your medical records (including results), order medication and so much more via the NHS App. We would be more than happy to help you set the NHS App up if you pop into the Practice.     I’ve been registered at this doctors since I started University, it’s not often I need them but when I do need them I find it easy to get in touch with them. I feel that the doctors always listen to what I’m saying rather than reading from a script and the reception team are always very welcoming and pleasant. Thank you Arch!
