    Thank you so much to the Doctor I had my appointment with - and the Reception staff and Pharmacy staff too. The Doctor was amazing and listened to my health issues, sent me for urgent tests and 3 days later I got the results. Doctor called me and explained what was wrong, the investigations/treatment going forward and listened to my questions. Myself and my family are really impressed with the treatment and service I have received. Thanks to everyone at the surgery for their help, kindness and support. It is greatly appreciated.

    Absolutely faultless experience.... both times recently I have used the Patchs service to get in contact with the doctor, for non-emergencies, and both times I have had a response and solution personally from the doctor within an hour... amazing! I know it is not for everyone, but I would really recommend trying out the Patchs messaging service - it definitely beats trying to get on the phone at 8am haha! Thank you so much Peartree West Horndon, absolute credit to the NHS you are! :-)

    Been with these since birth and got the ok to stay at the doctors even though my address had changed but still had a property in the area . Just had a rude phone call to say got 30 days to leave because of new rules and ownership. But when you search for doctors a lot of doctors now take out of area catchments absolutely disgusting phone call for someone who who has mental health issues and now will worry thanks Peartree Surgery

    Thank you for your review. The surgeries have a certain border in which we can accept patients. Patients outside of this border need to register with a practice within their catchment area. This ensures patients within our surgery catchment area are able to get access to services. We are sorry that you feel this is unfair but we have to adhere to this policy to keep it fair for current patients.

    Great practice so far. Everyone in reception has been helpful, especially the gentleman. He is always so kind and helpful. Doctors appointment wait is sometimes too long but you can call early and get an on the day appointment if it’s urgent. GP are very knowledge and it’s a good practice!

    Rude receptionist can never get an appoinment, Saw a so called doctor who is a prescribing pharmacist not a doctor but wasn’t told this, who I found to be very rude no manners at all,this surgery is worse than worse

    Thank your for your review. Your review doesn’t give much detail unfortunately. All clinicians at the surgery introduce themselves with their name and title so you would have been aware you were talking to a prescribing pharmacist. In addition to this, the names and titles of the clinicians at the practice are on their door, advertised in the waiting room and on the front of the surgery. If do not wish to proceed with a particular clinician, you can decline to proceed and rebook with a clinician of your choosing, if they are available. We apologise if you found our staff and clinician rude, however they all work under high pressure and try their best to give the best care possible. Please can you contact the practice manager if you wish to discuss this further.

    Attempted to call at 8am yesterday will try again today. Eventually called 111 and was told surgery would ring only need a sick note for work. Eventually got through to surgery and spoke to the apparently receptionist who in my opinion needs some training she then lied to me that they phoned me at 13:10 which never happened then told me I was being disrespectful and hung up. For a public service which I pay for this is unacceptable. And looking at their reviews there answer is always feel free to register at another surgery

    Thank you for your recent review. From the details given, you were contacted 3 times by a clinician and left messages by a clinician and you failed to respond. When you spoke to the receptionist, you were advised of the numerous ways to contact the surgery, including the web-based platform, but you declined. You were contacted a fourth time by a clinician about 24 hours later and you were furnished with what you requested. We are not sure how we could have done more in this situation. We apologise if you feel let down by our service. Please contact the surgery practice manager if you want to discuss this further.

    I find it extremely difficult to even get a phone call from this surgery... going on two weeks now. staff on the phone are rude and unhelpful and offer no solution other than call back then next morning (when you can never get an appointment or a call answered for that matter!) I was warned this surgery was awful but only joined because it was near! Yes i will be leaving!

    Dear Emma, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you feel that you feel that you did not receive the service that you deserve. However, we have reviewed your case and you had two online submissions which a clinician had contacted you on the same day to discuss the case with you. If the phone number is incorrect then all we can do is apologise, and have contacted you on the phone number that you have supplied. It appears that a clinician has contacted you to offer a face to face appointment. Again we apologise if you are not happy with this service and you feel that you need to write this review and plan to leave the surgery. Peartree Surgery

    Was expecting a call regarding my elderly mum. I had to wait in all day as I was supposed to be called 'anytime after 11am' . No call.

    We moved to the Peartree Practice due to our previous practice not being fit for purpose. We have been so impressed with the Chessel Surgery (where we are registered), the staff are caring, friendly, kind and the service is very efficient. It is so refreshing compared to what we were used to and gives us much more confidence if we do need to contact our GP - thanks to all the staff!

    Had another good appointment today. The doctor i saw listened and was thorough in his examination and suggested course of treatment. He explained details to me well when i asked and was very polite, kind and put me at ease. This is the kind of doctor everyone should have access to.
